The sheepfold is not currently accessible by car (you have to walk 400 m) and it does not have mains water, it is supplied by tank water with a pump for everyday use; for drinking: we provide mineral water. For the rest, the view is superb, calm and serene, the sheepfold is located 1,200 meters above sea level in the heart of the Haut Jura Nature Park and on the Grande Traversée du Jura. Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts will love it.

Shepherd's hut in the heart of nature

This stone hut was rebuilt on the remains of an old Berger hut. It is located in the middle of a meadow but accessible by car via a white path. There is no electricity or running water. The kitchen side includes a gas stove, a sink where rainwater arrives for the dishes. We provide a 10 L jerrycan of drinking water. An outdoor solar shower is available, otherwise washing is done with a washcloth. Dry toilet outside the cabin.

A small house with its covered Jacuzzi

It is a 16 m2 hut with sofa bed (160/200 bed) with shower room and toilet. An outdoor kitchen with sink and Weber gas barbecue available from mid-March to mid-October. Bed linen and towels included. Access to the Jacuzzi is available during your stay. 🌙 Our little paradise loses some of its tranquility after dark, lulled by the festive echoes from Excenevex beach and the campsite, which dance in the air until midnight.

The shepherd's caravan is located at the edge of the forest and offers a double bed, a small bathroom with shower and toilet, a refrigerator, a kitchenette equipped with dishes, seating inside and a fireplace including barbecue facilities with associated seating outside. There is no heating avaiable. In the afternoon, the sun shines on the seat and you can enjoy the warm rays of the sun in the tranquility of nature.

The refuge

Immerse yourself in the world of an alpine shepherd's refuge as a couple. Your all-wood cabin is composed of a bathroom with shower, sink, toilet, a night area with a 140 X 200 bed. Your direct access to your terrace with views of nature and your private Jacuzzi will ensure you have a good time as a couple and "you never know about a misunderstanding..." Towels are provided and the bed will be made on your arrival.
