Through the landing you enter your private bathroom with washbasins, shower and toilet. The private entrance is on the ground floor. If you come with 3 or 4 people then there is a second living/sleeping space available in the apartment (25 m2 extra) Pets allowed only after consultation.

Life rhythm simple living close to nature!

The life rhythm in the cottage is basic, close to nature in a wonderful hiking and cycling area, in a large, nature-rich place: vegetable garden, newly created food forest, flower gardens & pond are ecologically managed. There are a few pets (dog, cat, chickens, walking, bees). The refrigerator is underground and the composting toilet an experience in itself. The whole is made as environmentally friendly as possible and an invitation to live simply while respecting nature. There is a wood-burning stove.

Cozy guest house/ cottage. The guest house is cozy and spacious. The veranda is lovely to sit. The home has a private terrace. From the terrace there is unobstructed views (on the garden, horse box and meadow). Private use of a private kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms. Beautifully located in a rural place with spacious terrace and garden. The nature reserve 't Roegwold and the Fraeylemaborg are steps away. Supermarket 1.5 km. Shield lake at 7 km. The city of Groningen is easily accessible.

Beautiful holiday home with large bedroom and kitchen with cooking facilities and extractor hood. Furthermore, it has a refrigerator with freezer and oven/microwave. The attractive living room with country style has a 2 x 2 seater sofa and dining table for 4 people. The living room has a wood stove that can be used (wooden bags available for €6.00 p/st). Staying at Jan's was excellent! Communication was great, everything was explained and described in advance. You have maximum privacy through the separate building, the place was very clean, the bed comfortable and supermarkets are right outside the front door. The BnB is located in a church, or is an adjoining room of it, so you can look at it at any time. That's something special, who can say they slept in a church 😌 Thank you Jan!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lea’s place. It’s a spacious, cozy home with everything you need present. The kitchen was well equipped and there are books and games, and not to miss the great garden. The only thing we didn’t like was the curtains that let all light through - but after giving this as feedback Lea immediately thanked me for the tip and told me she will change it. Great host! Would recommend booking :)

We have completely relaxed in this wonderful place in the countryside! The view is amazing, you see a different animal shooting past every time. It is a quiet, peaceful place, but you can quickly reach the hustle and bustle by going to the city of Groningen. Also be sure to choose the delicious breakfast with the fresh eggs from the chickens that walk around. In short, highly recommended!
