Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Fox Lake

The house had plenty of room for my family of 10. We truly appreciated all of the extra things to do at the house. The pool table/ping pong table was a hit for the young adults. The fact that they had enough kayaks that the young adults could go out in a group was a huge plus. The only negative I would say is the amount of lily pads in front of the house didn’t allow for swimming off the dock or fishing. Obviously this is not the fault of the owner so we made the best of it.

Great place for a family. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils, appliances and tools for our stay. Beautiful location, right on the river with a huge lawn for yard games, fire pit, and to have the kids run around.

Jewel is just up the road if you need supplies, but you’ll quickly forget the outside world exists. And Waylon? The kind of host you rarely get - quick to respond, genuinely helpful, and fully dialed in without hovering. This isn’t just a weekend rental - it’s the kind of place that makes you rethink how you spend your time off. You’ll leave better than you arrived.

Need to spend a night in the Racine/Kenosha area and stumbled upon this gem! There were four of us and our little dog and it was perfect. I think each of us said, “it’s too bad we’re not staying for another night!” The pictures don’t really do it justice but Mindy’s house is homey, comfortable, and spotless! The kitchen was well-equipped, beds were comfy, and the backyard/river view is wonderful. Thank you Mindy!

We were in town for Thanksgiving visiting family with our dogs for 4 nights. Communication with host was great. The house was very clean, well furnished (we cooked the Thanksgiving meal there), recently renovated kitchen (huge kitchen island) with high end appliances, and yes there are 6 bedrooms (some small but nice). Rooms are split between three floors so everyone had room/privacy. Backyard with pool was great, lots of space for dogs, everything is fenced in but the front which was not a problem as the house is on a dead-end street with very little traffic. This is definitely a superhost home, all your condiments, lots of nice touches and snacks/gifts. We will definitely stay there again on our next visit to family in Chicago. House is locate between 41 and 94 making travel around Chicago easy.

Noam was very communicative and friendly. His cabin was cozy and everything I wanted. He had disc golf on the property as well as a beautiful private lake. We will definitely be back next year and highly recommend this spot!

Joan's daughter, Rebekah, communicated directly with me through the Airbnb app. She provided detailed check-in instructions, a phone number to contact her, etc. It seems Rebekah lives in Hawaii so please keep note of that for response times, etc. The house was comfortable, very clean, and well-appointed. Joan and Rebekah have a beautiful collection of original art, artifacts, etc. so please keep that in mind if you are bringing small children to the home. Please note that the 1st floor bedroom has a king bed and full bathroom; and the lower level has 2 twin beds in the open area, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed in the first bedroom, and 1 full bed and 1 futon in the second bedroom (including a full laundry and utility room in a closed room).

We were genuinely surprised to find a place in this location so close to the relatives we were visiting. Genoa City is not exactly the hotspot on the border! The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, but no overly inquisitive citizens. Property was perfect for our requirements, with the fenced in back yard that allowed us to let our pet out whenever without having to use a leash. Nice personal welcoming touches were unexpected and truly appreciated, since we arrived late and weren't able to do any shopping before hand. Beds were comfortable and spaced throughout the second floor, with expansion in the lower basement if necessary for bigger families, especially those with older children. School immediately across the street is great for spontaneous recreation of all types if you have the equipment. Our dog has not had the opportunity to enjoy such a large open space for quite some time and it was great to wear him out for the evening prior to bedtime. Abundant TVs throughout the home!

Debbie’s place is perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends or family. We came to Lake Geneva to bring in the New Year with two other couples and it was a Perfect getaway! We cooked a feast on Jan. 1 and were pleasantly surprised to find a fully stocked kitchen. This place is great, highly recommend!

Spent a vacation here with my family, everything was accurately described and easy to get in and had everything I needed. I recommend this location and housing for any get-aways.

great place and I loved being able to bring our dogs. they loved the gated yard to run around in while we chilled in the hot tub. we'd love to visit sometime in the summer to check out more of the lake activities.

The little blue bungalow was the perfect getaway for a weekend! We are new to the Midwest and enjoyed a snowy picturesque weekend at Chelsea and Cale’s awesome place. Very cute decor, environmentally friendly, lovely hosts and great location. We’ll have to come back in the summer sometime!

This stay provided a relaxing and quiet atmosphere. Perfect space and amenities. Maria provided perfect communication and the location was safe and clean. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The downstairs bedroom has an ensuite bathroom while the two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. The bathrooms has great amenities and are spacious as well. The kitchen was clean and had anything you could want or need to make a meal. Maria even thought of some other items like Tupperware and parchment paper. The coffee maker was serviceable. The gift basket was truly indulgent and appreciated. The big sofa was comfy and the tvs are the perfect size with any app you may want. While it was cold outside and I didn't get to enjoy the property, it was certainly still beautiful and lovely to enjoy my coffee and watch the snow in the mornings. I highly recommend this Airbnb. Jamie’s place was a perfect spot to stay in Chicago. There is access to the L within a few miles (with parking structure), and there are many walkable places locally. We highly recommend Caesar Pierogis on West Irving (offers gluten free pierogis). The neighborhood is charming and safe for walking. After long days of exploring, we came back to Jamie’s place and enjoyed watching Netflix and relaxing in the living room. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, and there is a grocery store within walking distance. Jamie is a very thoughtful host, and her home is quite accommodating. We had a lovely get away. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here, and it is always exactly what I need. The space is great, the neighborhood is safe, and there's a Lou Malnatis and Portillos within a 15 min drive. Will definitely stay again!

I absolutely loved staying here! The place is perfect. It is so easy to get to, has a great parking, is close to downtown Geneva, and is safe and private. The decor is adorable and so comfortable. It was so clean and cute and convenient. The bed is so comfortable. Cita is also so nice and extremely helpful and responsive. I loved everything about staying here. I will definitely choose to stay here again the next time I am in Illinois. Amazing little place!
