Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fort Payne

Our group stayed at Sharon's place and rode dirt bikes at Highland Offroad Park, 30 minutes away. What beautiful property, very quiet and peaceful. Close to shopping and dining. The inside was clean and had 5 wonderful beds and lots of room to hang out and talk about the days ride.

The house and location are great. Beds are comfortable. Kurt is very responsive to messages. Have stayed there before and look forward to staying there again.

This was our second year to stay at this house for a girls' trip. There were 3 of us and the house has plenty of space. The kitchen is well-equipped and everything is very neat and clean. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic. We enjoyed taking walks and just hanging out at the house. It's a perfect backdrop for quality friend time. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at the house on 193. It had plenty of room and the surroundings were just beautiful. We especially enjoyed sitting on the deck while drinking our coffee in the morning. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the nature all around the house.

Amazing location with an incredible view.

Jayne’s home was amazing. The only downside was that we weren’t able to stay longer! The property had everything we could have wanted, had nice personal touches, and everything was in great shape and well appointed. It was very private on a great piece of land. Highly recommend staying here as we will absolutely be coming back.

Loved staying at Clair and Bryan’s! The best thing I can say is how accommodating and how responsive and helpful they were. They were always willing to work with me. The second best thing was how peaceful and quiet it was. The private porch was awesome. It was a great place for me to get some work done. Highly recommend!

After we got passed Airbnb giving us the wrong code to enter the apartment we had no further problems and enjoyed our stay. The co-host Lorraine was very helpful. The train and highway traffic were annoying but, tolerable. We prefer more of a country setting. This apartment was in the suburbs so it was close to amenities, which was a positive aspect.

Our stay was above and beyond what we expected! The suite was extremely clean and very inviting! Jen and her husband are very welcoming! They both took time out of their days to recommend local places to visit while we were here! Once we arrived they gave us a thorough tour and even showed us the event center that is on the property! No details have been forgot about! There is a dog park for pets, a Sauna, hot tub, game closet for rainy days (for all ages!) and a playground for the kids! We truly felt right at home and absolutely loved staying here! We would definitely recommend this location to others!!!

This place was fantastic! The communication with the host was always quick. The parking is a little tight if all the units are in use if you have a larger vehicle. Great value and perfect location for us.

This is truly a destination that deserves a spot on anyone's travel itinerary.

We had an absolutely peaceful vacation. The property was quiet and so very beautiful. We needed some rest and relaxation and we got it here. We cooked every meal, the home had everything we needed. We loved the fire pit and swings. We enjoyed the lake. We even had a few friendly dogs and a great big sweet cat visit. The only thing I can come close to being negative about was, it’s super dark coming in at night and it’s hard to see. A street/yard lamp would be nice. We would stay here again anytime we visit the area. Best Airbnb we’ve ever rented.

We had an absolute blast. Cabin was rustic, beautifully decorated, quiet, peaceful…and the beds were so comfy. It has everything you need. We fished of course but my granddaughter caught several but I didn’t have any luck. Hostess was wonderful and got us settled. Highly recommend this place. Yes the floors were creaky but we made a game of trying to be sneaky. No sneaking up on each other. lol. We loved it.

What an incredible retreat! Completely private, with views that cannot be captured in the photos. Watching the sun set from the swim spa while listening to the waterfall...it was just magical. It is a half-hour drive up the mountain from town and the road does get bumpy, but once you're there you won't want to leave! My family loved that it was no-tech; we hiked, played games, read books, and completed a puzzle. If you're looking for a retreat from the fast-paced, high-tech world, this is it!

This was, BY FAR, the best experience I have ever had staying at an Airbnb. Juli was on top of everything, always quickly responsive, and very kind to us. She has created the most beautiful space to stay in. It was welcoming, comforting, and just beautiful by all standards. I hope I can stay there again and would recommend her Airbnb to anyone I can. We felt truly at home at Ellen's place. A great example of a remote cabin enjoying all that nature has to offer. The cabin is fully equipped and very comfortable. We would stay again.

Shannon’s place felt like home as soon as we pulled in the drive. As we approached the house, we were greeted by a sweet deer. My husband saw a bald eagle flying over the lake. The sunsets were beautiful. Would love to come back in the fall to enjoy the fall foliage. We spent one day in Fort Payne enjoying the shops, antiquing, Vintage 1889, & Maters. We walked the trails at Desoto Falls & drove along the Little River Canyon Scenic Byway. Late lunch at Rim of the Canyon - fried bologna sandwiches & tater wedges - 5 stars! Wished we had arrived earlier for their plate lunch. Mentone log cabin village and the art center as must sees. The Mentone market also serves a great lunch. Definitely recommend Shannon’s place!
