The "Midnight Moon" Cabin, State Road NC

CodyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay! The details in and around the cabin were awesome. Even the ring on a nail game on the back porch was a simple yet unexpectedly really fun game. The hot tub over looks the pasture was very relaxing without being able to hear any other noises. The campfire area was another very nice touch with a well supplied amount of campfire wood. Peaceful and very private. 15-20 minutes to a steakhouse among many other restaurants. 10 minutes off I77. We also enjoyed hiking at Stone Mountain State Park and Pilot Mountain State Park that were within 30-40 minutes.

Mountain A Frame, Hot Tub, Blue Ridge Mountain

Yi-HsuanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Jason’s place is perfect for a short getaway. You can see the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains while you’re enjoying the outdoor hot tub. The place is small but very well maintained and thoughtfully designed. We had everything we needed and really enjoyed our time here. To note for those who are not from this area, there might be some bugs. I recommend bringing bug spray with you. Yet I was able to enjoy the place with a peace of mind despite my serious bug phobia. So it’s absolutely fine for ordinary people. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay, the porch was definitely our favorite part and it had a nice kitchen. As he mentions you at in the country so there are bees and bugs. We did kill two wasps inside in the bedroom both days but that was to be expected with the description.

Thank you so much for sharing your vacation rental with us. The cabin is very secluded and peaceful. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, sitting on the screened porch, and watching the wildlife (several deer came by to say hello). The hot tub was an added bonus (and clean). Our group thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful weekend away and highly recommend this property!

The Cabin- The Hot Tub is Ready! Get Cozy Time!

KevinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cabin was perfect for our extended weekend stay. It was super easy to find and very private. The cabin was well stocked and had plenty of room for the two of us and our dog. Katie had tons of great recommendations on things to see/do and there is plenty of space around the property to get out and stretch your legs or run the dogs. 10/10 would stay again in a heartbeat.

2 bedr 2 baths Custom Log Cabin on Pilot Mtn Farm

TriciaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This was the most relaxing, peaceful and carefree weekend we have ever had. My husband and our 2 kids and 2 dogs had the most fun, and we didn’t even feel the need to be on our phones or watch tv! The cabin felt like home; so much so, that we didn’t want to leave. My husband and I are already planning a trip back. Carey was an amazing hostess and we are so appreciative that she opened her home to us. The views were breathtaking. We literally sat outside all weekend. We only went inside to cook and sleep. Oh! And we got to enjoy a meteor shower Saturday night! Super awesome!! And, even cooler, there’s a dollar general market at the end of the main road! Coolest thing I’ve ever seen! So you don’t need to bring a bunch of food! We drove 5 hours to come stay here, and honestly, I would drive 10 just to come back. This cabin was every bit of home and we can’t wait to come back!

The Rocking A Frame - modern meets cozy

LyndseyRating, 5 starstoday
This cozy Danbury cabin was just what we needed for our family trip to NC to celebrate a wedding. Things were well organized, beautiful, and the hosts have thought of just about everything. My son loved the record player, and we really enjoyed the outside seating for relaxing nights chasing fireflies. The town itself doesn’t have much, so we took this as a perfect opportunity to sit back and relax. The Rocking A Frame gave us the perfect reprieve from our busy lives back home. Thank you, Spencer and Jordan!

I had a great stay at the tobacco barn. It was clean, cozy and comfortable — and the perfect location for a local wedding I was attending. The grounds are beautiful, and I enjoyed watching the deer wander by as I was having my morning coffee on the deck. Julie was helpful and responsive, and made sure I had everything I needed!

Klump Farm Cabin

RichardRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was my 2nd visit to the Klump's cabin, and certainly won't be my last. The pictures and description of this site fail to do it justice, as words and images cannot fully convey the sense of peace just being here brings. And then there's all the "little things" that Gene & Connie provide and do that add so much. Little touches inside and out that just add to the rustic charm, yet modern convenience. Snacks, drinks, magazines to read, firewood cut, split, and stacked ready for use. And there's my favorite feature: the outdoor shower. Isolated, yet close enough in to enjoy the benefits of the city. If you need to sit a spell, breathe, and just relax, this is the place you need to go. Thank you, Connie & Gene!

Majestic Getaway near Wake Forest University

LelaRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This is a gorgeous property that’s even better in person. We loved the rambling layout, extra large rooms, and hand-built everything. (Windows, closets, bathrooms, 3” thick solid doors). The craftsmanship was super impressive and the decor is really well-done. The bookshelves were filled with many of my favorite authors and the cozy vibes and many comfy armchairs and lamps meant that reading breaks were frequently taken. We hope to be able to stay at the lovely property again.

Excelsior #1 at Tanglewood park + Pet Fee

SheriRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Great stay! Rustic cabin in the woods with a beautiful view. Was familiar with the Tanglewood area already. Had a great walk around the park and enjoyed a birthday party at one of the picnic shelters. Interior clean, towels fluffy (could have used a few extra, since we stayed several days.) And, water pressure was excellent. The only negative would be WiFi. We couldn’t get it to work. So, make sure to have plenty of Data. Other than that, we give it an A+ and would definitely stay again .
The living room features a comfortable sofa and a matching armchair positioned near large windows that provide views of the surrounding woods. A wooden coffee table sits in the center, complemented by a TV on a cabinet. Natural light fills the space.

We would definitely stay here again, but next time we’ll have to stay longer.

Black Bear Cabin - 3BR/2BA - Fire Pit, Arcade

DanaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We loved staying at Black Bear Cabin! From the moment we drove up the driveway I felt right at home, the property is just so peaceful and beautiful. We saw deer and rabbit grazing every day which my young daughter really enjoyed. Kay was very accommodating and very responsive, she made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin itself was clean and the beds comfortable. We all enjoyed playing pool and roasting smores over the fire pit. The next time we’re in the area we will be booking with Kay at Black Bear Cabin! All around a 5 star rating from me!
