Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Fondo Morte

We had a wonderful stay at Massimo & Danila’s house, which is an architectural gem filled with beautiful details and personal touches. Even in the winter time it was very warm and the fireplace added to the feeling of comfort. We loved the peace and quiet that the house radiates, as well as the surrounding sand dunes and beautiful beaches. Thank you for making our stay so magical & we hope to return.

Antonio's place was fabulous. The apartment is well-maintained, comfortable, well-furnished and quite large. The kitchen had every appliance imaginable for a great stay. Antonio was very kind, thoughtful and responsive. He answered any questions immediately and kindly provided us with suggestions for restaurants, bars and street food (you must try the market and sandwich place he suggests... the sandwiches are to die-for!!! The location is great is close to the archeological site where you can see among many things the Greek theatre and getting to Ortigia is a 25 minute walk, but I would suggest you drive there or if going at night, take a taxi/uber back if you don't have a car. If you have a car, it's easy to get to other spots such as Ragusa, Noto, Modica or take a hike to Cava Grande Overall, it was an extremely pleasant stay. Thanks Antonio!

The landlord will come to open the door and introduce the house in detail. You can park anywhere in the unmarked parking area. The main street is just down the stairs from the house. It is very convenient. The house is very big. There are two rooms with bathrooms. The roof is high and it is very cool in summer. There is a large terrace with a good view.

Enza was very nice! She is a very welcoming and friendly person. She is very responsive at every stage of the process. I greatly recommend. The place is very cosy, a haven of peace, just two to five walking minutes to the main interesting spots of the city!

Eleonora's accommodation is extremely well located with a terrace overlooking the duomo and the other side of Modica. The accommodation is very spacious, with functional equipment. Bedding is good . The street at the foot of the house is a road passing from Modica Alta and quite noisy with vehicles but the bedroom overlooking the back is quiet. We were lucky to come during the St George's festivities. Eléonora kindly lent us her garage during this busy period, but in return the street was often closed to traffic, which was a plus for us. You can walk around all of Modica easily - a lot of walking but it's one of the charms of the city - supermarket and good restaurant nearby. We'd love to come back to this place

The view of Syracuse from the bed was so beautiful. It is located in the center of Ortigia, so you can easily go anywhere. I'd like to visit again if I have the chance next time, and I'm willing to recommend it to my acquaintances.

The one in Casetta Porta Rossa was a fantastic week. Great location, quiet area but at the same time minutes from the center of Noto. In the surroundings there is everything you need: bars to have excellent Sicilian breakfasts, bakeries where you can buy sfincioni, focaccias, etc. for packed lunches, groceries, restaurants, etc. Carla is a responsive host, always kind. We'll be happy to come back!

The location is great - right at the beach and very quiet. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with the sound of the waves. Massimo reacted very fast - we had a WiFi issue and he even organised a technician over the Easter weekend!

Wow — this place was absolutely incredible! The photos truly don’t do it justice. The views were breathtaking, the location was unbeatable, and everything about our stay exceeded expectations. The service and accommodations were spot on — very helpful, very friendly, and made us feel right at home. Everything you need is within walking distance, and you’re in the ocean within 60 seconds. We’re already dreaming about coming back, hopefully for a full month next time. Thank you so much for the amazing hospitality! Highly recommend.

It was a dream come true! We spontaneously booked a day before and were warmly received. My dog loves the landlords' two puppies so much and misses them already. Corrado is a very warm host and despite the language barrier we were able to communicate great! He brought us tomatoes and taught us what real mulberries are, a dream! The accommodation is located directly on a private beach, which we had all to ourselves at the beginning of May!😍 The place has a cute private garden including outdoor shower and mulberry tree. It is fenced with a wall and gate and has an extremely long and wide golden sandy beach. The sea is wonderful and everything is so clean. You feel really at home and well looked after at Corrado's. We will be happy to come back. Hearty recommendation!❤️

Corrado was on time at the house, very friendly, explained everything, was always available even in case of problems. Excellent. The small house where his grandparents lived is newly renovated, impeccably clean, even has a washing machine and 2 fully equipped bathrooms. Towels and bed linen smell good, in the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking plus plenty of coffee capsules and there is a terrace on which I could sunbathe even in December. Thank you Corado 🙏🏼 Even if the small alley to the house does not look inviting, as soon as you enter the courtyard in the house, you feel like you are in paradise.

Wonderful stay, very helpful host.

We felt super comfortable in Charlie's vacation home from the beginning. Everything was as described in the advertisement and there was nothing missing. We especially enjoyed cozy breakfasts and dinners on the two terraces or the first coffee of the day on the rooftop terrace with sea views. My favorite place was the hammock - also with sea view - where you could relax wonderfully. The vacation home is also a perfect starting point for various excursions. For example, we found it super nice in/on "La Spiaggia della Riserva Foce dell'Irminio," which is only about 10 minutes away by car. The personal contact with Charlie was very nice and informal. He is an attentive, yet totally unobtrusive host who has plenty of tips for restaurants, excursions, etc. And we also got fresh eggs from the chickens. We would book the vacation home again anytime! Thank you, Charlie, for letting us be your guests :-)

Beautiful, clean and charming accommodation in a quiet area of Modica. Beautiful view of the city from the balcony. Quite a sporty walk to climb from the lower town, but for us who are in good physical shape it was an advantage and it helped the digestion of the cannoli 🙂

Very nice spacious apartment with good amenities. Only 2 minutes from the sea and a very nice beach. We had a lovely time!

We were very happy with the place. Great location, the ceilings were high and the rooms spacious. The fact that the bathroom is quite small did not bother us. At weekends it was sometimes quite noisy. Since it is a corner house, there is quite a lot of noise from the outside. Otherwise, we were able to sleep very well. We were provided with a crib & baby chair and contact with Aurora was also reliable and fast. We have left a parasol at the property and hope it can be used by other guests as well.

Giuseppe is a wonderful host - very helpful, kind and considerate. We felt at home with him. The property is wonderful! Very close to the sea, with a wonderful bay and almost no tourists. If you want to relax from the hustle and bustle, Giuseppe's house is perfect! You will find everything you need for your vacation: a fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms with a comfortable bed and a private garden with sun loungers, table and chairs, barbecue area and outdoor shower. It is a great starting point for exploring Catania, Taormina or Syracuse. In the area there are many grocery stores, a pharmacy and a hospital, but to enjoy all the services you will need a car, which you can rent at the airport or in Augusta. Great spot within walking distance of the main sites. Easy to find with street parking right out front. Damanio was very communicative via the app, and his mother was so kind and welcoming. Check in was very easy and we were able to store our bags for a while after check out the next morning. We would definitely stay here again!

Alberto was a great host, very friendly and gave us heaps of great restaurant recommendations, from popular to hidden. It was also just a short walk from the main areas which made for a nice walk. We were able to do some washing, and there were lots of bathroom amenities.

Marco was a fantastic host. He guided us confidently with all the help through the rather tricky driveway (the apartment is located in a very winding, by the way not barrier-free complex, which in turn is in a kind of "gadet community" with many other resorts and holiday homes, which can only be passed through a barrier and gates. We were incredibly lucky and were almost the only guests in the complex. So we had the great and very clean pool almost to ourselves. In general, everything was very quiet and peaceful and we were almost alone. The view from Marco's terrace is fantastic. Very, very fantastic view of the sea and Mount Etna. Depending on the time of day, some sun, some shade. Simply outstanding. The complex/apartment from the 60s has a great charm, though a bit outdated;) Unfortunately, we searched in vain for access to the sea. Many paths were blocked or overgrown. Thank you, Marco!🫶

The apartment is very spacious, with three bedrooms, a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The absolute highlight is the spacious outdoor terrace with another kitchen, grill, outdoor shower and even a separate toilet. In addition, there is a second terrace at the entrance area, perfect for enjoying the sunset – which was particularly pleasant this time of year as it was not too hot. The apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stefania welcomed us very warmly, was always available and always friendly and helpful. We felt completely comfortable and welcome with her. We have made many excursions and love to take long walks by the sea – we can especially recommend Donnalucata. The cities of Syracuse, Modica and Ragusa Ibla also impressed us with their beauty and atmosphere. We thank Stefania from the bottom of our hearts♥️!

I have a very good time. It took a bit of efforts to pack our stuff in a backpack and walked a bit up hill to reach the place, but overall experience was impressive with the convenience, atmosphere, and cleanliness. Highly recommended!

The experience was perfect, Angelo was friendly and very helpful, the accommodation was perfect, renovated, equipped with everything for a pleasant and comfortable stay, the garden is well maintained, the terrace is beautiful especially at this time of year. Perfect for visiting this area of Sicily.
