A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

In a 10-minute walk you can reach the swimming beach on Lake Walen. Five minutes away by car is the gondola lift to the ski, hiking and biking area of Flumserberg / Prodkamm. The Walensee/Sarganserland vacation region offers countless opportunities to be active, but also for rest and relaxation.

We are a cosmopolitan family with two children (4 & 8) and at home in the beautiful Glarus mountains. Our new guest apartment is centrally located in a quiet location. The studio is located on the first floor of a detached house in a quiet area, with parking (+ garage for bicycles), small terrace and separate entrance. The apartment is equipped with a pull-out sofa (140 × 200), a single bed on a raised platform (not suitable for small children), private bathroom and small kitchen (see pictures). The house is located 5-7 minutes' walk from the train station, BZBS, OST and the city center.

Our cozy studio is located in Walenstadtberg at 850 m directly below the Churfirsten, which makes it an ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours, etc. Lake Walen, which is a ten-minute drive away at the foot of the mountain, offers cool refreshment. You can end the day comfortably by the fire pit and enjoy the stunning views of the valley. There is a regular bus service to Walenstadtberg.
