We had a great weekend at Sean’s place. It was quiet and private.

This cabin was perfect for the 2 of us. We really like places with privacy and beautiful views... and this place had that which we thoroughly enjoyed. The king bed upstairs was very comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cabin. We would definitely like to come back in the future.

Loved staying at Freedom Yurt! Very relaxing, clean, and peaceful little get away. Loved how different it was staying here but didn’t break the bank. They gave recommendations on places to see, eat at, etc. which was great to have!

Wow this was such a great lay out and space for the square footage. super clean and in short driving distance to many places (HEB, restaurants and Greune). Neel was super responsive and detailed in the arrival notes. Would stay again for sure!

We loved Sherry's place! We had three families of 4 (2 adults & 2 kids each) all stay comfortably. Everything was clean and we felt it was much larger than what was represented by the photos. The kids enjoyed the pool and we caught and released several perch, bass, and catfish in the pond. Plenty of space for the adults to relax both indoors and outdoors. Conveniently located just off the highway but still felt very secluded. Host was responsive and we have no complaints. We'd for sure visit again.

Home was perfect for the river trip. We really enjoyed the nature and peacfulness of this AirBNB. Very spotless and clean. Highly recomend.

What a cool place. A-FRAME cabin upgraded to feel very homey. As a Michigan football fan, it was hard to deal with some of the UT decor but even that can't get me to say anything bad. HAHAHA. Great communication, easy to work with and allowed us to check in way early. Than you Kevin for everything

Karen's place is conveniently located just minutes away from Gruene, but tucked away in the quiet country part of the area. This was great, cozy place for one or two people. Definitely worth the cost. Highly recommend.

Book this property right now! You will not be disappointed! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was more than expected. The pictures do not do it justice! It has alot more space than what I thought it would and there is absolutely anything you could need for cooking including some spices and oils, and of course coffee. The hosts are close by on the property and communication was excellent and so friendly! The views are breathtaking even when it's cloudy and rainy. This was a perfect spot to get away and relax!

We loved being back at this cabin for the second year in a row. Perfect for our little family. Our kids loved the access to the river and the fenced backyard was perfect for us to feel at peace while the kids and the dog played outside! Beautiful views

We had a wonderful stay at Freedom Yurt. Nice property in a peaceful surrounding. Wifi signal was weak during our stay and so we relied on our personal 5G wireless. Host was responsive when we highlighted wifi issues and immediately reset the router remotely. It helped a little but not much. Overall, I'll still highly recommend Freedom Yurt. My family had a wonderful time.

While the house itself is small, as described, the outdoor space is the real highlight. The property is beautifully maintained and offers plenty of activities, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and cornhole. The deck overlooking the river is absolutely stunning, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the view. Overall, a fantastic stay for anyone looking to enjoy the outdoors!

We had a great time staying at this one-of-a-kind glamping spot. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and definitely captured the glamping vibe—comfortable, stylish, and a little adventurous. While the price felt a bit steep for what we got, I'd still recommend it for those looking more for a memorable experience than for dollar-to-value precision. The hot tub was a nice touch, though it struggled to heat properly on cooler, misty nights. Thankfully, on our final evening—when the weather was warmer and partly cloudy—it reached a perfect 102°F, which made for a relaxing end to our stay. The dome itself is visually striking, but surprisingly not ideal for stargazing. Also worth noting: the connecting yurt shared a wall with another unit, and light from their space bled through into our bedroom. We had to get creative with a blanket over the shared door windows to block it out and get some sleep. Despite a few minor inconveniences, we really enjoyed ourselves.

I can't say enough great things about Micky and Vicky. They were awesome from start to finish. The day before our stay we found out that the original cabin that we booked had been accidentally double booked. We had originally booked a two bedroom cabin for my wife and I and another couple. Micky and Vicky called us and said that, due to the double booking, they were going to put us in two other cabins. One for my wife and I and one for the other couple. When we arrived and saw that those two cabins were too small for us we called Micky and Vicky. Understanding our problem the quickly offered to trade with us. Micky and Vicky would stay in the small cabin, and they allowed us and our friends to stay in their private 3 bedroom residence. That's right. They allowed us to stay in their own private residence while they loaded up their animals and personal belongings to move to the small cabin during our entire stay. How's that for customer service. They were absolutely the best hosts ever.

Really fantastic place. Staff was superb. Easy going and easy to navigate getting in and situated. Quiet at night. So close to the water. AC was excellent. We will definitely be back!

Linda's cabin near the river was a perfect getaway spot! The cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our stay truly memorable. The proximity to the river allowed us to enjoy nature and relax. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

Great quiet location on the river. Very comfortable relaxing space. Very clean and organized, had everything we needed, loved the large shower. Nice to be able to bring my small dog. Enjoyed the double patio doors allowing full view of the back yard and river. Would definitely book again if in the area.

A cute, cozy hideaway to just chill and relax!! Perfect for a getaway weekend for 2!!! Carlos was super friendly and so helpful. He made us feel right at home. This is definitely a place that we will return to next time we are in the area.

I can't say enough about Vicky And Micky, they were fabulous! We did the tour and the horse back riding and we even decided to do the dinner. Everything they are doing that farm is amazing and all non-profit to help save animals. If you're hesitant about dinner and price looks too much, DON'T BE! We were hesitant but they sincerely out did themselves. They have a culinary background and wowed us from beginning to end, it absolutely worth every penny! They know what they're doing in kitchen and tailored everything to our likes. It was such a relaxing weekend to get way, very nice place.
