Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Flemish Brabant

House with lots of charm, very well equipped, beautiful and fragrant garden! We loved our stay at Marie & Antoine's lovely house!

I cannot recommend this place enough. We felt at home and really enjoyed our stay. Honestly 10/10

In one word: Wow! We loved it there! We had nothing missing, very nicely decorated and this in a top location. If you don't become zen here, then nowhere... Otto and Nathalie, you are more than worth the 5 stars!

We had a great stay at the house. The fenced garden was worth its weight in gold with small children. the house is fully equipped, the kitchen very modern, nothing was missing. the beds were also really in very good condition. We had problems with the refrigerator, then we talked on the phone and a solution was found immediately. Too bad Nicolai didn't mention (at least I didn't read / find it) that there are also children's toys in the room above. Our son was particularly happy about the huge cuddly toy bear. Everything else about toys was more for girls, but that doesn't matter. we would come back anytime and book the house again.

This was the best Airbnb we we stayed. Quite, good location .Very comfortable beds .Just the coffee machine was acting out .Other than that everything was perfect. Thank you Marie

Perfect for our needs

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautifully furnished and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, we especially loved spending time together in the cozy living room. It’s also in a great location, with easy access to Leuven, Brussels, and Antwerp for convenient day trips. Lize was an amazing host, super helpful, very communicative, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Highly recommended!

After 8 years on Airbnb, this is my first long review. The window was broken, and due to strong wind I caught a bad flu that I’m still recovering from. The host was very rude. I stayed two nights, and on the last night I asked for the WiFi password—he replied by demanding to know when I was leaving and insisted on checkout by 11 a.m. I had planned everything assuming I could stay until 2 p.m., and politely asked if that was possible. He responded aggressively, threatened to report me to Airbnb, and falsely claimed he let me check in early (I arrived at 3 p.m., on time). I left by 10:30 a.m. regardless. I’ve stayed in many countries through Airbnb and never encountered this level of disrespect. I’m not writing this to hurt his business, but to encourage a little more politeness and professionalism in how guests are treated.

We had a wonderful 4 ½ months in Oud-Heverlee and immediately felt at home. The café operations did not disturb us. Instead, we were able to enjoy the stunning terrace, which we had all to ourselves, especially in the mornings before the café opened at 2 PM. The surrounding nature is impressively beautiful. Many small lakes and great forests criss-crossed by small and large paths invite you to walk and cycle. The old town of Leuven can also be reached by bike in half an hour.

The location, as you can see, is very central, and Carrefour is just downstairs. As for the home: it's very clean, beautifully decorated, and extremely comfortable. One thing I really appreciated is that the studio has everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen is fully equipped with brand-new items for cooking, and there are even games like chess and cards,even ear swabs, and drinks like beer and water waiting in the fridge. The security in the building is also very good. The host is very helpful and responds quickly. Highly recommended!

Great host and a nice place.

Julien’s place was as described. Really nice neighborhood, 5 minute walk to public transportation to the city center; but plenty of restaurants right in the neighborhood as well. There was a race in Brussels on our arrival date, Julien was kind to reach out ahead of time to understand our plans so he could accommodate. He met us at the Airbnb spot and gave us some recos for the jazz festival that was occurring in the city. We love Brussels; it was great to be in a quiet, lovely neighborhood but yet a five minute train ride to Brussels as well Would highly recommend Julien’s place for a single traveler or a couple. We didn’t interact much as we were only there one night, but it didn’t take long to understand Julien is kind and conscientious; everything you look for in an Airbnb host - look it up if you need a spot close to the airport as well as everything else mentioned.

We had a wonderful stay. The view from the rooftop balcony was super relaxing and peaceful, yet close to the city center. Thank you for hosting us!

Really beautiful and spacious apartment. Kitchen was very well equipped. The only minor issue was that we would have preferred the bed to be a bit higher off the ground, but it was still very comfy and always had a good nights sleep. It's very easy to get into the city centre, and we enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood.

This a very large 1 bedroom apartment centrally located to the city center. It was very quiet and we loved our stay here. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Brussels.

Great stay in a lovely apartment!

Very practical for what I needed. Quiet and spacious. I had considered sharing with a colleague but glad I didn't because privacy can't be catered for (curtain for bathroom door, and walls do not go up to ceiling). Obviously, that's not a problem for a couple.

Quiet cozy apartment in the old town of Leuven. Clean and well taken care of. Hosts were great and friendly, if I come back to Leuven I would definitely 100% re-book here 😊 Plus, the terrace was lovely.
