Way better than we ever could have imagined! We had the most beautiful honeymoon here and would go back in a heart beat. Very private and a great place to relax and enjoy nature. Knut has thought of everything you could need and is very helpful. He even left us a lovely honeymoon hamper when we arrived which was so kind. This really is a one off location unlike any other!

We just landed back in UK after a fantastic stay in beautiful post card picture log cabin,loads of space and very warm and homely. steep drive to cabin in icing weather but roads are cleared.foind it ok We drove to hovden and did skiing for 3 days around 1 Hr drive but broke on your doorstep but was only open on sat, Sunday, Thursday and we arrived Friday.

Beautiful house - was what we expected from the pictures. Scenery was unbelievable, it was quiet and private. Really wish the hot water had been working in the kitchen sink and outdoor shower. Also wish the hot tub wasn't an extra cost to use -- it should just be part of the overall price as it's one of the main draws and features in the rental description. Overall amazing, would stay again, but for the price, would want the hot water working.

Vi havde den dejligste uge med børn, børnebørn og svigermor i dette helt unikke og for en arkitekt spændende hus - en original norsk bjælkehytte med super komfortable møbler, senge og veludstyret med alt køkkenudstyr, brænde, spil, TV og internet. Hytten lå tilbagetrukket lidt for sig selv med udsigt mod det smukke Brokke fjeld og over hytte området, som vi nød fra verandaen omkring bålfadet, Vi kunne gå/stå på ski til skisport stedet, som også opfylde alle vores behov. Vi giver hytten, Bente og Tor-Olav vores bedste anbefalinger og vil gerne komme igen - ikke mindst for også at opleve stedet om sommeren. Eneste minus var, at vi 500 m før hytten måtte have snekæder på. Vi var ikke forberedt på, at opkørslen ville være så stejl. Vi fandt senere ud af, at det er nemmere at køre lidt længere på den store vej, og først køre ind i hytteområdet fra indkørslen lige overfor Brokke-Alpincenter. I hytten er der grus til at sprede ud, men det fandt vi først senere ud af. Tusinde tak for lån :-)

Nydelig plass hvor du virkelig kan finne roen. Hytta er også super hjemmekoselig. Koselige verter som svarte med en gang med alt vi lurte på. Her kommer vi gjerne igjen😊

This was a great space, aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and great location. Only thing to know is if you choose to stay in the loft you need to come down stairs and back in through the apartment door to get to the bathroom. Highly recommended place!

Wir haben einen wunderbaren Urlaub in der Natur verbracht. Wandern, angeln und die Umgebung erkunden. Der Konhakt zu den Gastgebern war freundlich, zuvorkommend und schnell, Fragen wurden umfassend beantwortet und Tips gegegben. Der alte Bauernhof liegt in traumhafter Natur. Man merkt, dass die Gastgeber das Haus auch gelegentlich selber nutzen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, vielen Dank!

We a family of 4 arrived at Magnar's cabin for one night and stayed for two. We did not get a chance to meet Magnar but he was available all the time and very nice. We found the cabin very easy. It was clean very quite and very well equiped. We even made our own bread and pizza ! The view, Oh the view... Magnifisent. Be aware there are no linnens or towels as it is the standard in cabins across Norway. Toilete has no flush water but we found it no problem at all !!! All in all it was great! Thanks Magnar!

Wir (Familie mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Jugendlichen) haben uns in Patricias Haus von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt. Es war angenehm vorgeheizt und auch sonst sehr gemütlich. Vom Wohnzimmer und zwei Schlafzimmern hat man einen wunderbaren Blick aufs Wasser. Sofas und Sessel sind sehr bequem, so dass man auch bei Regen mit Blick in die Natur gut entspannen kann. Patricia und ihr Mann wohnen in der Nähe und geben gerne Tipps für Ausflüge. Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Ladestation sind knapp 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Die Unterkunft war noch schöner als auf den Bildern und wir wurden herzlich Willkommen geheissen. Odd Bjarne ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns sehr gut verstanden und haben viele Tipps für Aktivitäten und Wanderungen bekommen. Der Kontakt war unkompliziert und er hat schnell geantwortet wenn wir fragen hatten. Es war ein wunderschöner und erholsamer Urlaub. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt bei Marianne. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen und wir können die Unterkunft wärmsten empfehlen.

One of the best AirBnB stays I’ve had. Inger goes above and beyond for her guests to ensure they have a pleasant stay. Her garden is stunning and she rightfully takes a lot of pride in the work she has put into it. There were a few times I was unable to reach a certain destination by bus, and Inger kindly offered to drive me to the location. I would highly recommend staying here, it’s the perfect mix of privacy, relaxation and engaging in social opportunities if desired. Norway is amazing, and I would certainly choose to stay at this AirBnB if I were to visit Norway again.

Whether you are looking for a place where your dog feels welcomed or a lovely place to stay overnight, this flat and environment makes it easy to enjoy Jørpeland. The flat provides an inviting environment for both guests and their pets. The space is thoughtfully designed, combining coziness with all the necessary amenities for both short and extended stays. On sunny days, the balcony offers a delightful spot to unwind and enjoy the surrounding scenery. All in all, we were super happy with our accommodation.

Kenneth was an outstanding host, and very responsive to the few questions we had. He asked when we planned to arrive so that he would have everything “guest-ready.” The place was beautiful and very serene. We were in town to hike, so we were gone most of the four days, but our arrival home was always met with beautiful views and a comfortable place to relax. The bathrooms and bedrooms were spotless and the kitchen was fully equipped, which is important for us as we prefer to cook. The laundry facilities were super and there were plenty of linens and towels. We were two couples traveling and each of us felt that the place will be hard to top in this month of travel in Norway. We highly recommend Kenneth’s place!

Perfect stay for our Christmas holiday! The house was decorated, beautiful, and very large. The kids couldn’t stay out of the pool and hot tub! Host was very very accommodating, and the location was breath taking! Id do it again in a heart beat :) very pleased.

It is a nice house in a wonderful surrounding. we had lots of fun in the waterfall, the river and the fjord. The conversations with Olav were always on point and fast answered. I recommend it warmly.

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!
