House vacation rentals in Flaxman Valley

We had a lovely weekend stay at this beautiful property. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. My daughters and I felt right at home, and even our dog, Loki, had the best time exploring the yard and soaking up the peaceful surroundings. It was the perfect spot to unwind and spend some quality time together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a family- and pet-friendly getaway!

What a great place to stay. Old, but clean and specious with everything you would want including home grown tomatoes and homemade fig jam. the gardens, unfortunately affected by the drought, are great. We would have loved to see them in their full glory. The owners were great also and promptly top us up with a couple of items we were running out of. We would certainly stay again.

Our group had a fantastic stay. We enjoyed the pool and use of the projector. We enjoyed the space greatly and highly recommend to all. All communication was greatly appreciated. Thank you for having us. We would love to return again.

My friends and I had a great time staying at Las Viñas. Paula was a great host, the house was easy to find, easy to get into, and beautifully clean when we arrived. Plenty of space for a large family, or for multiple adults. Walkable to town, and to some of the best wineries Australia has to offer. It was a great few days, and we will be back!

We had an amazing stay at your Glenelg Beach House — the location was stunning, the home was spotless and beautifully set up, and the private pool was such a great bonus. It was the perfect spot for our short getaway with my parents and their friends. We truly appreciated the smooth communication and thoughtful touches throughout the house. We chose this property based on its location, size and the fact it had a large pool for the kids – it did not disappoint on any of these. Location was great for us, albeit a little further out of the city but our priority was to be close to the beach and as it was only one block away, it was perfect. The property is about a 15min walk from Semaphore centre which has plenty of amenities, small supermarket, restaurants and shops and with Henley beach less than a 10 minute drive away, there are plenty of options. The property has lots of space, the four bedrooms were a good size. The living areas were substantial as were the outdoor areas. The property would benefit from some cosmetic work, some paint was peeling off in some areas but this did not detract in any way from our stay. We would certainly stay at this property again. A big thank you to our hosts ☺️

What a find! Superb accommodation in the Adelaide Hills. Large gardens (with own resident koala and kangaroos). Beautiful surroundings, very tranquil. Furnished to a high quality throughout. Amazing responsive and friendly hosts. So glad we found this place. Highly recommended

This place was pristine clean, bed linens surprisingly clean. Wendy herself has been very accommodating and helpful I would say Wendy went above and beyond even in keeping breakfast items ready and waiting Definitely will comeback and this time actually enjoy the home and surroundings

We had a wonderful weekend at Julian's place enjoying the Barossa region. 6 friends stayed and we were all very comfortable in our large queen beds. It was nice and cosy with a fireplace and extra split system heating. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed to cook a bbq and roast dinner. Very close to Tanunda and the surrounding vineyards. We had our tour guide pick us up from here for a Barossa Bespoke tour. It was an amazing getaway with views and sunset across the private vineyard. Would love to come back and stay again!

My four-night stay at The Glen was absolutely perfect. The tastefully designed cabin has all the amenities and luxury comforts you need on beautiful private grounds. Morning coffee on the deck overlooking gum trees and grazing kangaroos, with the fresh eucalyptus scent in the air, was pure magic. Inside, the cosy home features large windows framing stunning outdoor views. Host Lucy and Garth was responsive, polite, and welcoming. This peaceful retreat outside Adelaide left me completely relaxed and refreshed. Look forward to returning back soon! Highly recommend.

We had a winter getaway at Hannah’s property she manages in Eden Valley. The cottage was quaint and perfect for a couple getaway. The cottage is also dog friendly and great to visit with our cavoodle. The cottage was clean, tidy and had amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Backyard was big and the gardens beautifully maintained. The fire was perfect for enjoying in the lounge room. Wood was supplied however we did buy some kindling and fire lighters to get the fire going. Welcome gifts were provided on arrival which was a kind touch. Thanks Hannah for the stay.

A warm and comforting place to stay, located in a perfect area in Barossa. It felt like home as soon as we arrived. The fire pit outside and fire inside were an added bonus and a perfect place to sit around whilst enjoying a glass of wine. The thoughtful breakfast treats and wine upon arrival were very much appreciated. We’d 100% recommend this place to others.

Two friends enjoying a weekend away in the Barossa was made even better staying at Christian's Cottage. Everything about the accommodation was perfect. Gorgeous furnishings, pristine kitchen, super clean bathrooms, extremely comfortable beds. Lovely touches included a fire blazing on arrival, a selection of local, tasty treats to enjoy during our stay and candles by the bath :) The host also helped organise a wine tasting with a wine maker! Myself and my husband had a very relaxing stay. The accommodation was very clean and bed super comfortable. Loved the outdoor bath and how secluded we felt. Enjoyed watching kangaroos hopping along the top of the hill as we sat on the veranda. Kept nice and warm from the gas patio heater, log fire pit and indoor heater. Everything we needed was provided including a lovely bottle of wine on arrival. Highly recommend for a relaxing and secluded stay without being too far away from civilisation. Thanks guys!

Fiona and Misha are exceptional hosts! Our family arrived at the cottage on Christmas Day, and they went above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless. They suggested we pre-order groceries from the local supermarket and kindly received and stored them in the fridge on Christmas Eve—a thoughtful gesture that made our arrival stress-free. We enjoyed a memorable Christmas dinner made right at the cottage and had a truly wonderful time. The cottage is beautifully equipped with an excellent range of amenities, including a variety of cookware, coffee, teas, and more. Despite the summer heat, the cottage remained pleasantly cool and comfortable. I highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Barossa Valley and will undoubtedly return for my next visit.

We loved VineVale. The whole house was warm and welcoming. Large living areas, well stocked kitchen and pantry, fireplace and comfy couches. Pool area was like walking into a European villa, very peaceful. Outdoor bbq and fridge. Even the linens were colour coordinated by room. I hope we get to visit again - thanks Karen

Rebekah was so lovely, attentive and accommodating of our travel plans and having the house nice and warm on arrival, really smooth check in, the kids loved the exciting cliff face cubby house and the chickens roaming around - and the fresh eggs were bright golden goodness :) nice big roomy house, very convenient location to visit family in Lobethal, we would stay again given the chance 😊

This house was absolutely stunning! It had everything we needed and no expense was spared to make us feel right at home. As soon as we walked through the gate we experienced a very real ‘wow’ factor. The gardens were beautifully kept and the house was spotlessly clean. The view over the ocean was better than expected and provided an immense sense of tranquility. Our hosts were brilliant. They communicated well and accommodated a short-notice extension of stay without any trouble. They even left us a personalised welcome card, a bottle of bubbles and special welcome for our little dog. This property is truly a five-star place and highly recommended to anyone considering a stay. We can’t speak highly enough about how wonderful the entire experience was and will definitely be back again.
