Angela is simply the most wonderful host we’ve encountered. She was extremely welcoming and let us check in early as we were in the area. The house is lovely and beautifully decorated. All the basics are provided which is always great for international travellers! The pool was amazing with great views and we all loved spending time outside. Angela is very friendly with lots of recommendations. She really is the perfect host and I would definitely stay here again.

This house was perfect for us. In the countryside, very peaceful, a few minutes drive from the village and the beach. We could see the stars at night, we collected figs and tomatoes from the garden, we were surrounded by cute kittens. Maria came to meet us on the first night. she explained that the first time it is a bit tricky, but then it is easy to find the place. And it was just like she said. The beach is 10 minutes drive on a gravelled road, can be done with an opel corsa, no problem. There are cows, sheep, pigs and even peacocks at the neighbours- lots of entertainment for our 3 years old daughter. The olive oil of their own production as well as the wine are delicious (Italian foodies here!) The sunset over the bay is wonderful and breakfast on the terrace a real treat. While we were there the island was hit by a storm so we didn’t get to enjoy the place to its full potential. However, we think that there is all you need to be happy and a bit more.

We had a brilliant time at Eugenia. The house is very comfortable. Eugenia and her mother are great hosts and made our holiday feel special. The village is lovely and quiet, with a nice restaurant in the square and beautiful walks in the surrounding hills.

Absolutely amazing stay at Villa Blue! My family spent 2 fantastic weeks at this beautiful property & it exceeded our expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning panoramic view across the pool & the most amazing place to enjoy the beautiful sunrise & sunsets The villa itself was immaculate & thoughtfully equipped with everything we could possibly need from kitchen essentials to pool towels, wifi & BBQ. The layout was spacious & comfortable, plus friendly cleaner every few days We all enjoyed the great pool Our hosts were fantastic, incredibly responsive & attentive, always just a message away & helped with local recommendations. Their hospitality was spot on. Meeting us on arrival to direct us to the villa was very helpful. We couldn't have asked for a better villa or base to explore Kefalonia. Nikos’ place was great. The location was very peaceful and picturesque - and, despite its village location, was only a short drive away from all you would need. Nikos’ aunt was incredibly helpful in directing us to the property and showing us where to park - both Nikos and herself were available for any questions and also, checked in via message during our stay. The property itself is great and provided a cosy base for our trip to Kefalonia. We would recommend Nikos’ place and hope to return at some point in the future

We loved staying here. Spiraggelos couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. The accommodation was in an ideal location - in the countryside but a very short distance to Argostoli. There were sandy beaches within 10 minutes by car and the airport was 15 minutes away. The house came with everything we needed and had a good size garden with olive trees and a hammock under a fig tree. We would definitely return.

We had a magical stay at Anna’s cottage and fell in love with Kefalonia here. Sitting on the terrace with the wonderful views out to Ithaca and beyond was a highlight with our stay here. The apartment is very spacious, with great facilities. The terrace is private to the cottage and is accessed straight from the kitchen with the wonderful views. This was such a bonus. We will definitely be back!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this apartment! We were made to feel right at home and the hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality! We loved the tranquility of the place and the surroundings are incredibly picturesque. I would definitely recommend!

We have had a lovely stay in the cottage. The view is absolutely amazing. You can see all the way down the valley and out to see the hosts are lovely people and very helpful. I’m sure we will come again. The island is also very beautiful

We had a fantastic holiday here. Before and during the stay communication was friendly & clear. Location is above the village of Kato Katelios with restaurants, bars, supermarkets & ATMs and kid-friendly beach about a 10m walk down (and 15m back up!) a steep hill – far enough away for privacy yet close enough if you want to be more amongst things The Wi-Fi is fine in the downstairs and pool area, but doesn’t work so well upstairs. There's a DVD player in the main room. The kitchen is well stocked and there’s a BBQ outside. The pool is a generous size and perfect for a family to cool off or play in. The aircon works well enough to take the edge off the heat in the main living area (which has lots of glass) and cools the bedrooms very effectively We only had one slight issue after a power cut tripped out the pool pump, but this was fixed within 24 hours of contacting the owners Overall I would highly recommend staying at Villa Anemoni

We stayed almost a week in this nice and beautiful apartment in Svoronta. Even though the airport ist a 15 minute walk away, we never felt bothered by any kind of airport noise. The location of the House is close to the capital (Argostoli) and a good base to explore the island. The apartment itself ist clean and tidy. The hostess was extrordinary friendly and always happy to help. Her hospitality was remarkable. She told us about the sights worth seeing and where not to go. With her help we had a week full of special experiences. The Garden and perimiter of the aartment are well kept and extensive. The House comes with a friendly and happy dog and sweet and curious cats.

Perfect experience! Everything was as advertised, even more. First of all, communication with the host was timely, active and without delays. We managed to find the place with no issues at all. Arriving at the house was a breeze, and felt right like at home. AC was up to the task battling with extremely hot Greek summer (38oC !). Shower and all other amenities were perfect. We were also able to use the provided washing machine and this solved our troubles as we were arriving there from a previous stay which did not offer that. The place is very calm, just 6km from Sami town which is port connection from Patras and offers amazing options for local restaurants, cafes, supermarkets etc. The most important is that it is just in the middle of the island, providing the opportunity to easily approach any other location without the need to drive long distances. High recommendation for families, group of friends or even lonely stayers! Couldn't ask for something more.

Such a peaceful and beautiful house. Host was very friendly, meeting us in Stavros and showing how to get to the house. Nothing too much trouble, including giving great local tips and pulling out the map of the island and even coming and bringing us some bread when we missed the closing of bakery on Sunday. Lovely days lying under the shady olive tree (much bigger now than pictured) and the bathroom has a had a modern renovation since the photos too. Dinner at Extraterrestrial and Myrtia both must dos (at different ends of the price point). Head to Kioni to hire a boat from George. Thanks again!

We stayed for 10 nights at Portokali Cottage, and had an amazing time! Nicholas was available (via email) to answer any questions that we had, and communication with us before our stay was excellent (including the very detailed directions to the cottage which got us there with no difficulties whatsover). Portokali Cottage was peaceful, charming, comfortable and absolutely spotless, in a stunning location. We were able to watch the beautiful sunset every evening (with a glass of something nice), and we all enjoyed the swimming pool and listening to the bells of the nearby goats, which just added to the overall charm of the place. The cottage was very well appointed with everything we needed, including air-conditioning in the bedrooms which was a godsend in that Greek heat! Nicholas was a super host, and the pride he takes in his cottage shines through. We hired a car for the duration of our stay, and we would highly recommend this in order to make the most of the island :-)

This place was perfect, in such a quiet spot with amazing views over the sea and mountains. Ilias was so helpful, and the apartment was beautiful. Really nice touches with the beautiful books and decour. The local beach and restaurants were superb, and it was very easy access into Lixouri. Amazing!

We spent Easter week in this beautiful, serene cottage. It was the perfect setting, in a beautiful town in Kefalonia. We loved the yard and garden, we spent every meal eating outside. The home was very comfortable and had everything we needed and more- we especially loved the large bathroom and comfortable bed. Heike and Nikos were exceptional hosts. We also fell in love with some of the pets in the neighbourhood which were all very friendly. The cottage is centrally located; close to some of the best beaches and only a ten minute drive to Argostoli. We will 100% be staying here next time we come to Kefalonia as it’s a little dream.

We had a wonderful week with our 2 children at Auntie Cottage. The atmosphere is just amazing, it feels like home. The cottage is perfectly equipped, nothing is missing. We particularly appreciated the cleanliness of the place, the comfort of the house (bedrooms, kitchen equipment, air conditioning, 2 terraces, outdoor shower...). The house is bigger than in the photos, the space is great for a family. Sophia is a great host who gives you a lot of information to enjoy visiting the area. She is also very kind and flexible to make your life easier during your stay. A gem that will make your stay on the island even more wonderful!

We had an amazing time at the cabana! The terrace is amazing with the shadows under the trees! Mario’s is an incredible host!

Charming little place, set in a well-kept garden amidst mediterranean foliage, with two terraces offering shade or sun during the day as one prefers, and a lot of privacy. The indoor is intimate, with a modern small bathroom and a kitchenette for breakfast. Buzzling Sivota (the line of decent tavernas and shops along the Marina) is 5 mins walking distance. Erigone is a oerfect host, offering good recommendations on Lefkada‘s many attractive beaches and restaurants. The cottage is situated in the same garden as the host‘s home, but both houses are well apart and have their respective privacy. A car is recommended, as Sivota is far away from anything else. We recommend the place!

We really liked Vaso's cottage. It is located in a less touristy part of the island than the north and Argostoli, very suitable for families. Nearby Lixouri is one of the towns we liked most on the island. In the area near the accommodation there are many excellent taverns, services, supermarkets and last but not least, beautiful beaches and coves. Vaso's cottage is very nice, well maintained and elegant. The view from the terrace is enchanting and lends itself well to romantic dinners. The house is well equipped, the furniture is of excellent workmanship, the air conditioning works perfectly. Excellent cleanliness.
