Vacation rentals with lake access in Fiordland

Beautiful views and great location. Bathrooms were quite updated and spacious and the laundry was too. Perfect for our small family to relax after enjoying the outdoors.

Juliet's homestay is just beautiful!The balcony is the lake view and mountain view, the matching facilities are complete, there is everything you think of here, and there is a semi-automatic coffee machine, we stayed for three days very enjoyed and saw the rainbow🌈!

This crib is all about the view which is clearly spectacular. No other reviews have referenced the property’s layout which I will do here - not as a criticism, but as an observation so that folks can take same into consideration. The property has 2 bedrooms - however they are effectively joined (wth a small ante room in between) meaning that the second bedroom can only be accessed via the first bedroom. This arrangement is certainly noted in the property description; however it’s not apparent from the photos. Folks may need to take this arrangement into account, depending on who they’re sharing with, noting that the occupant of the second bedroom needs to pass through the first bedroom to access the bathroom. Jimmy was a very thoughtful and responsive host . The house was very comfortable with stunning views. The setting opposite the lake is beautiful, and a great base for exploring other areas of interest around Queenstown. We’d highly recommend Jimmy’s place.

Absolutely stunning!!! From stepping into this beautiful space we were welcomed to peaceful music and a warm space to invite us in. We were in awe of the view and spent most of the afternoon sitting with a cuppa and looking out. The beds were very comfortable and warm and the shower was also excellent. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone.

The location of this home in Kingston is just breathtaking. The lake, the mountains, the quaint little town -- all of it is perfect. It is a 45-ish minute drive from Queenstown, but that was a plus for us as we had day trips planned to Milford Sound and Invercargill. Plus, the drive to Queenstown is so beautiful. The house was very clean and cozy. We made ample use of the washing machine (which conveniently has a dryer option as well). I would highly recommend a stay at Ian's.

A lovely house to base yourself in Central Otago. Spotless and spacious and very toasty warm in the colder weather. Keiran was easy to communicate with and helpful operating instructions for the appliances were on hand. Plenty of room and although not required by us was good to see a cot and highchair for those with small families.

I had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely beautiful—immaculately clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The host’s communication was proactive and helpful throughout, which made the whole experience seamless. One of the highlights was definitely the stunning views from outside—truly breathtaking and even better in person. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway. The absolutely breathtaking views, just a few minutes' walk to Queenstown center. Deborah provided lots of helpful information. The room was well-equipped and incredibly cozy — I’d choose it again next time. Highly recommended!

The kitchen is well-equipped, the interior is clean and tidy, and there is an intelligent ventilation system. Parking is convenient. The surrounding environment is quiet. It is highly recommended for people who come to Queenstown and don't like the noise of the city. It is also relatively close to Glenorchy for horse riding. I look forward to having the opportunity to experience it again!

The place has a balcony that faces Lake Wakatipu. Great views. I managed to capture few pictures of southern light from the balcony. The place is near to alot places. My family loved the place. i really recommend this place.

Perfect crash pad right on the lake with everything that was needed for a weeks stay.

My partner and I spent a few days here for our first trip to Queenstown and it was absolutely perfect, we loved our stay! The apartment itself is tidy and cosy and the view of the lake is beautiful and even better than the photos 😍 Kirsty was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed as well as providing some great local recommendations including a scenic walk into town, which we loved doing every day. We would stay here again and 100% recommend!

A truly wonderful apartment in a fantastic location, 3 mins walk to the town centre. Karen was an excellent host and was very responsive throughout, providing lots of local recommendations.

The view is stunning. The kitchen ware is a bit few for cooking couple menu at the same time. For me the second bedroom is a bit cold for the heater they provide. Overall is good place for staying here.

We really appreciated having a clean, convenient space for our 2 night get away to the city. We are from the states staying in Twizel but wanted to come to the city for a few nights. The place was perfect with all the amenities. Great for kids. Loved the balcony views! Can’t beat it!

Beautiful place to stay — had everything we needed and more. Adam popped in for a chat and was an absolute legend! Super friendly, full of great energy, and incredibly knowledgeable. He answered all our questions with ease. Adam also runs his own company, Fiordland Historic Cruises, and judging by how well he runs his Airbnb, you can tell his business would be top-notch too. So make sure to do your research before you come and support him — good people like this deserve it. Highly recommend!

You couldn’t ask for a nicer little place, it was sparkling, clean very comfortable and perfect location for my needs. I would recommend Judith’s place every time. Communication was easy and very quick check in no problem at all. Check out same way cheers, Richard.

Excellent cottage! Beautiful courtyard, nice view and quite. There is a red folder provide all information including home appliances manual. Welcome cookie and warmfirplace have been set up before arrived. Highly recommend for all Airbnb user!

Homely and comfortable stay with great amenities!

Very roomy and comfortable accommodation. Large bathroom with a fabulous tub. We used the washer and dryer…very handy. Heated floors kept the place warm and cosy. Kitchen is well equipped. Would stay there again. Thanks Peter and Yanli.
