The Annex ( with Sauna )

Self check-in is available if required. Self contained annex with spacious, south facing bedroom with access out to the garden which guests can use. We are 2 minutes walk from the river and can direct you to nearby hills and lochs where scenic walks can be enjoyed. There is a cosy, friendly pub just round the corner which serves lovely home cooked meals all day. They welcome "muddy boots, kids and dogs". We are dog friendly too so please feel free to bring your well behaved dog along.

Self contained annexe in the heart of Royal Deeside. The 'bothy' is a 1 bedroom home attached to our converted farmhouse. Downstairs has a spacious fully-equipped kitchen/living area with sofa bed and log burner. Upstairs is a double bedroom and shower room. Just 6 miles from Ballater, and in the Cairngorms National Park, the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve is on our doorstep with walks and cycle routes. Close by is Tarland Trails 2 mtb centre. Our property has bike wash and storage.

The Farm Bothy cottage offers luxury accommodation on a working sheep farm. It is self-contained, within a modern steading/barn conversion. We live in the other wing of the house. You can explore the farm, woodlands and our garden. Ideally located for visiting nearby castles and distilleries the area also has great cycling, golfing, fishing and horse-riding. Our local pub is a mile away. The nearest town, Alford, has a pub, restaurant, shops, supermarket, parks and museums.

We loved our stay here. Location is excellent, right in the centre and walking distance to everything you’d need - union square is just around the corner. The flat itself is lovely and so spacious! We stayed with a 9 month old and a 4 year old and there was more than enough space for us all with the travel cot provided and pull out sofa bed. Communication was very easy and very quick responses. Thank you so much for our stay, we will hopefully be back sometime 😊

This cottage is, without a doubt, one of the best AirBnB's we have ever stayed in ..... we could happily live here ! It is clear the owner takes exceptional pride in presenting a spotless and welcoming home. The location is soo picturesque (fabulous views) and peaceful - nestled between Aboyne and Tarland. Perfect base for soo many places to visit plus fantastic cycling and walking routes in the area. Do not hesitate to book this cottage if you are looking to recharge and relax :)

We had a fantastic stay! The location was peaceful, scenic, and exactly what we needed to unwind. The surrounding views were beautiful, and the property itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. It was clear the host put thought and care into every detail. The cabin couldn’t have been more relaxing! Exactly what we needed after a long travel to start our trip. We were able to relax and unwind with the outdoor bath and fire pit and the chilled champagne and breakfast basket were perfect on arrival! Thanks to Mandy for giving us the best recommendation on a local golf course, Murrayshall was gorgeous and challenging! Thanks for this little gem Alice we hope to be back!

We had a lovely stay at Jacqui and Jo's place and were made to feel very welcome. There was a super little welcome pack of essentials which were great and Jacquis soaps were divine and a lovely treat. The cottage was clean and tidy with all that you could need inside and outside to enjoy your stay and the views from the windows stunning and ever changing. We would love to visit again in the future.
