Giannakis Filoxenia

Sofia25Rating, 5 stars36 months ago
For us nature lovers Filoti village was the perfect place to stay. We were able to climb mount Zas, the highest mountain in the Cyclades, following the path next to the house. We followed other old paths which took us to amazing places like the source of Aria and small Byzantine churches built on cliffs and edges with breathtaking view. We visited museums, the church of Panagia, the tower of Barozzi. We walked on the narrow streets of this picturesque village, we bought fresh local products from traditional small markets and dinned in traditional restaurants where we had the chance to taste the local cuisine. We were so lucky to chose this house for our accommodation. The outdoor area is exceptional. There are fruit trees where you can cut your fruit directly from the tree and eat it. There is a pond with goldfish, turtles and dragonflies. There are waterfalls and a breathtaking view of the village. The sunset is amazing. The house is spacious, fully equipped with all the amenities and can easily accommodate 8 people. The internet is super fast. You can chat, send videos and download without any problem. What impressed me is that the wifi connection was accessible throughout the village and even on top of mount Zeus. I strongly suggest you visit Filoti and choose this ancestral house as your place to stay.

Zeus’ Balcony – Where Calm Meets Comfort and Style

Despoina did us a great favor, in letting us stay in her home. We were enlightened by all of the assistance she gave us in the checkin process and throughout the trip. Being in her home, felt right at home for me and my friend. Filoti was a great village and a very welcoming group. Despoina and the people of Filoti made this a trip of a lifetime & I will be back!

Estelle

Stella and her family are the dearest, kindest, most attentive hosts anyone could hope for -- far beyond our expectations. They welcomed and continued to care for us like family -- and we will always remember them as such. The only drawback to a host like Stella is that every other host will pale in comparison! That said, Hailki is the most charming village, centrally located so we were able to see the entire island and we made friends at all of the local eateries where the food and wine was also exceptional. It was just so hard to leave. It

Kourouni Country House in Naxos

My family and I stayed for a long week at Antonio's, an amazing traditional Naxos house amidst olive trees and at walking distance from peaceful and beautiful Chalki. Both Antonio and his parents (Ioannis and Katherina) have prooved to be the perfect hosts. Always available when needed and ready to please. Generous and friendly. We loved our staying at Naxos and we want to express our gratitude to Antonio, Ioannis and Katherina for their hospitality. We highly recommend Antonio's house in Chalki, Naxos.

Traditional two-storey house

We had a wonderful stay at this charming, traditional house in a lovely small village. The location is perfect for exploring the island, with plenty of great restaurants just a short drive away. The house, though cozy, is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Our host was exceptional—friendly, welcoming, and even invited us to a fantastic music festival. We truly appreciate the hospitality and can't thank him enough for making our trip so special!

Chalki ResidenceGroup: 'Tinos' Studio in Naxos GR

An outdoor seating area features a stone wall and a wooden gate. A small table is set with a checkered tablecloth, accompanied by two wooden chairs. Lush greenery and hills are visible in the background, creating a serene environment.

Zas Traditional Apartment for 3
