Riad Dar Timrad

AyoubRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A great Riad and great hosts!! The welcome was warm and very professional, they are attentive to each of your requests. Their recommendations are great and the place is magical, quiet and peaceful. We went there during the winter but the rooms are well heated, the infrastructure is new and of quality (hammam, jacuzzi...). The terrace overlooks the entire medina and is very well planted (jasmine, olive trees...) We didn't want to leave Thanks again Abdelali, Omar and the whole team!! See you soon, inchallah!

❤Petit Palais XVII, Bab Boujloud Medina

MelissaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed in Lydia's Riad for 3 nights. Prior to our stay, Lydia was always responsive to our requests so that we could prepare for our stay in the best conditions. Abdellatif and Aïcha welcomed us very warmly. The Riad is majestic and took our breath away as soon as we arrived. We took a trip thanks to Abdellatif who was great (2 hours with a driver overlooking the medina!) They also found us a taxi to get to the airport in the middle of the night. A big thank you to all 3 of you and have a great time 😊

Modern secure villa with pool

TheoRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Thank you so much to Touria and Jamal for accommodating us at such short notice. I think we booked with less than 12 hours notice and yet they managed to get the house clean and ready for us to check-in and greeted us with a Moroccan breakfast. We felt very welcome. The villa is beautiful, spacious and in a very quiet and secure neighbourhood. Our honest feeling is that it was nicer than the photos! Jamal was our point person and he was always available and always responded to any queries very quickly. This was and is very much appreciated.

Stunning Retreat in Fez Medina with Views & Pool

JoannaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
I didn’t want to leave Suzanna’s place! This is the only way to visit Fez — staying in an authentic riad. The beauty really can’t be quantified in photos or in a review. It was perfect. A couple of points: 1) Another review mentioned stairs being steep but I did not find this to be true. There are stairs, like in any riad, but they weren’t as numerous or as steep as most other places in Morocco, in my opinion. 2) This is not “hotel perfect” — and you wouldn’t want it to be. The home breathes history… things like worn tiles are the quirks that convey its long rich life. It is a privilege to stay in a place like this. 3) If offered, get the breakfast! It was really nice to have that. I’d stay a thousand more times. Don’t hesitate!
A modern villa is captured from the street, featuring a sleek façade with large windows. Palm trees line the entrance, complementing the home's neutral color palette. A gated entrance, with metallic doors, is visible, ensuring privacy while situated in a quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful farm with pool.

RizlaineRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Beautiful house with pool, the place is super quiet and relaxing. The kids were able to have fun in the pool or around the house. Selma is very welcoming, always responsive to message and understanding. The caretaker is very very nice, you can ask him anything he will serve you. I would recommend the place, for its calm and cleanliness and insulation. 20 min from FES city center by car. You have a small shop 5 min walk from the property. If you need a secluded and family-friendly place, don't hesitate. See you next year Selma. And thank you again 🙏🏻

Dar Eloina, traditional house

RiomarRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Overall a great place to stay, confortable. We loved the interior and the build of our Riad. Right in the heart of the city. The stay is an old building in one of the oldest town in Morocco (or maybe the world) so we can’t expect spotless / dust free place, so expectation must be accounted. We personally liked it, but a few times the entrance door got stuck, some lightbulbs were out, the toilet had water always running. There was imperfections and few annoyances. But again the infrastructure is old, somethings can’t be helped. The Riad reception were helpful, the checkin experience was ok. They did not send any prior message/notice about our stay before arriving so I had to contact them about it, ask to arrange an airport taxi, but we got to the Riad without problem. At reception, they guided us about the town and ways to see attractions. Our checkout experience was ok, but the taxi arrangement nearly costed us a flight unfortunately. Mis-communications with taxi, luggage carrier…

Lovely Riad 17th century Fes Medina Free Parking

MariaRating, 5 stars36 months ago
The accommodation is amazing and is in the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the part of the Medina of the city of Fez, as it is located near one of the main streets, one of the few that you don't miss in Fes. In addition to the accommodation, we arrange breakfast, transfers to the apartment from the airport and two guided tours. We highly recommend these services, as the visits are incredible and welcome you with great hospitality. The all-day visit of the Medina includes visiting artisans where they teach you how to make their local products (all in Spanish). We also did the Middle-Atlas where we got to know Berber culture and the local flora and fauna. Highly recommended as well. To make these visits we had chauffeurs every day and the visits were for our group (8 people). If one day I return to Morocco I will not hesitate to contact Mohamed, we are looking forward to the desert and Chefchauen!
Intricate carvings adorn the archway, leading to a central patio area. Dual wooden doors, featuring decorative windows, frame the entrance. A vibrant yellow cloth drapes elegantly over a wooden railing, adding a subtle pop of color to the serene architectural details.

Dar Chez Khadija, paleis in hart medina Fez

AndraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Pim’s place was exactly as described, a beautifully decorated traditional home with a comfy terrace. The recommendations were spot on, it was great to have Yassin come get us from the parking lot. He was courteous and helpful and the breakfast served delicious. Pim helped us hire a great tour guide for half a day, ask for Hamid if interested.
A cozy bedroom is featured, furnished with a spacious bed and a decorative golden frame. A simple wooden nightstand and dresser complement the room. A wall-mounted television is positioned nearby. The space is accented by traditional decor including a ship model on a shelf and a patterned rug.

I had a wonderful stay! A special thank you to Hamza and Houssam, they were incredibly kind, gentle, flexible, and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The place was just as described: clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. They even provided us with free coffee, tea, and many other thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. I truly appreciated their hospitality and would definitely recommend staying here.

Riad Dezayn - A way of life

IrumRating, 5 stars84 months ago
Our stay at the Dezayn was a delightful stay, we loved the riad it was very traditional. Each room has an en suite which was a great. The house keeper Abdul lateef was very helpful and always was around. Breakfast was lovely, the location was great but a 15-20 min uphill walk to the blue gate. Over all a great value for money riad we had a lovely 3 night stay and thank you Pierre’s for always responding to our messages promptly.

ImogenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Thank you Samira for a great stay and making us feel so welcomed. It was amazing to stay in such a beautiful, historic house in such a convenient location in the Medina. The rooftop is especially nice (even in the rain we had on our visit). We really enjoyed exploring the souks and local restaurants. Was a brilliant place for us as a family with young kids.

A CHARMFUL RIAD AT THE HEART OF FES

DorisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This was an absolute gem! As a family of four who loves to travel extensively this riad was exactly what we were looking for. Set in the very heart of the medina and fully immersed into local life. Totally authentic. The riad itself is very well preserved and maintained. Spread out across four floors this was super spacious and indeed can sleep up to 10. Great shower, lots of climbing and hiding opportunities for our kids and a wonderful roof top terrace to listen to the sound of the call to prayer (which you can hardly hear from the bedrooms). Mrs Latifa, the woman in charge, was super friendly and helpful, and for a small extra charge she whipped up a wonderful breakfast and also prepared a lush local dinner for us to warm up in the evening. And then there was Youssouf who kindly met us at the Bab Guissa Gate, even if it was late at night due to a delay. He guided us to the house and in the morning he took us on a tour around town until we were comfortable enough on our own.
A warm dining area is filled with guests seated around several tables covered with light tablecloths. Traditional Moroccan dishes are presented on platters. The walls are adorned with intricate blue and white tile patterns, complemented by decorative elements that reflect cultural heritage.

Beautifull Riad Medina to your Familly/ Friends

ElsaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Omar and his family were extremely nice and helpful. We booked the whole riad for our group of 13 and there were plenty of rooms and space. He came to the parking to pick us up and guide us to the house, we arrived very late. Its right in the medina in a very convenient location. Her mum prepared moroccan breakfast both days for 20dirhams each which was great. If you need milk in the breakfast tell them in advance cause its not typical. We knew we are in Morocco so it was fine for us, but be aware cleaning standards are not the same. Kitchen and bathrooms were dirty and smelly, but beds sheets were clean. 2 rooms were having bedbugs and people got stings, we killed some of them. We were allowed to keep our bags after the checkout downstairs. Wifi worked great. I would recommend but cleaning needs to be improved to met european standards.
A spacious living area is highlighted by a large brown dining table surrounded by plush chairs and bar stools. Soft lighting illuminates the modern design, and a large screen is positioned on the wall. Expansive glass doors provide access to an outdoor space.

EVELINA GUEST HOUSE

FrederikRating, 5 stars8 months ago
It was a very nice stay in Fes and in the host's house. The roof terrace and the view over Fes alone were priceless. Just a tiny criticism: only in a bedroom, the air conditioning works as it should. But it is still pleasant despite the heat in August.
An intricately designed living space features traditional wooden doors, colorful tile flooring, and a central skylight allowing natural light to illuminate the area. Comfortable seating areas are adorned with patterned textiles, creating an inviting ambiance that reflects the rich heritage of the space.

Private Riad, Terrace, Panoramic View, Heart of Medina

MichaelaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
What an amazing place to stay. Authentic, and unique; located deep within the Medina for a truly special stay. The host was incredible and extra helpful when needed; printing our boarding passes for us in a pinch, arranging a transfer to and from the airport, to personallying walking us in through the Medina to our Riad, and aranging a local, professional guide to get us oriented with the Medina. This home-y Riad was just as the pictures illustrate, and very special. Thank you for such a great stay!
The room features four comfortable beds arranged with simple bedding. Traditional Moroccan decor is highlighted by a chandelier and woven wall art, while a large mirror reflects the space. The geometric tiled floor adds a distinctive character to the room.
