We purchased the property in 2010 and Built this cottage for our family. After our children moved out we sold our home and moved here as our full-time residence. We loved lake living so decided to build our new home on the same property, using our cottage as a guest home. We did not use it as much as expected so we decided to Rent it for additional retirement income. The building has 1536 sq ft, including the 3-season porch. 2, 12'x15' bedrooms with 7 beds, plus a sofa bed in the living area.

We completely enjoyed our stay here! Angie was helpful, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Perfect spot to be able to walk around town and still have some privacy. We were a little disappointed the grill wasn’t fixed up to use for the season, but overall we were satisfied with the place.

We booked Jeremy and Rachael’s house very last-minute after changing plans due to the hurricane in FL. Jeremy was nothing short of amazing - incredibly responsive, provided great recommendations around town, and continued to check in throughout the stay. The house was beautiful with plenty of space, and the two living rooms (main floor and downstairs) provide plenty of common space. We didn’t have kids with us, but the house has everything you would need to bring them along without a car full. Walking distance to the beach, general store, park with hiking, and a restaurant that is open all day. Highly recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Loved staying in Grand Haven in this adorable unit! The host was lovely and gave us some great local recommendations. It is walking distance to a lot of things in town but also a max of 5 minutes driving distance from where we wanted to go. Pullout couch and bed were comfy and overall it was extremely fun to have the small but open concept arrangement. Could hear the neighboring units slightly but nothing that really impacted our trip! Home was well stocked and fit our needs exactly.

Perfect space for the few days we needed it. Very clean and spacious. The pots and pans were in bad shape-but Kelly took care of that for us pretty quickly. Kids were a little disappointed that the wifi didn’t connect in their rooms-but all survived. Tv controls/remotes were a little confusing- but we weren’t there to watch tv. Maybe directions would have been helpful initially. Only big downside for us was that one of our kids has a severe peanut allergy, and we weren’t aware the store below us was going to be roasting nuts as part of their business. The peanut fumes consumed the upstairs rental on roasting day, so we had to leave the windows open on a very cold day -just for our son to be in there safely. We tried to spend most of our time away, which wasn’t initially what we were planning to do. We would recommend the place to any non-peanut allergy humans looking for a convenient place by the lake.
