The studio is detached but in the same grounds as our house. It has its own private entrance and parking. You enter via the fully fitted and equipped kitchen: dishwasher, fridge with small freezer compartment, microwave, induction hob, electric fan oven, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, and glassware. From the kitchen you then enter the open-plan lounge/bedroom where there is a king sized bed with feather and down duvet and pillows and white bed linen and towels.

fantastic little area. lots to see but little to do without a car. property itself is very comfortable with more than enough amenities. has a large selection of DVDs, some puzzles and a very nice TV to use. has Chromecast which makes using my phone to view stuff easy. dvd player and speaker system as well. overall the experience was lovely. definitely would do again, but making sure your travel was planned carefully because of ice and other weather conditions.

Waternish is a beautiful part of Skye and Sarah and her son provided everything we needed. The cottage and setting were even more lovely than we expected. An absolutely beautiful place to come home to and so snug and warm on stormy nights. Great attention to detail makes this a gorgeous place to stay. Local cafe, pub and restaurant offer lovely food on the doorstep. Area steeped in history and vibrant with local artists and crafters. Perfect and would thoroughly recommend.

Sadly my husband and I were not able to make it to Hailey’s place, as we broke down on our very long journey from Exeter! Our friends did make it though and said how lovely it was, very peaceful and quaint 😊. Hailey was so understanding and supportive of our situation and it really helped ease our stress. Would definitely like to come again one day and actually enjoy it for ourselves!
