Bed linens and towels should be brought by yourself. Cleaning should be done before you check out and should be thoroughly done, for example, vacuum, dry the floors, dust the bathroom and the kitchen. So you leave the house in the condition it was in when you arrived. Rowing boat is included to the cabin. You need to clean the house before you leave.

Overbyn is located 15 min. north of Torsbyn and the ski tunnel. In the disused village school Fjällbacka, now the residence of the host couple Uffe and Randi, there is this object. The apartment is located at the foot of Hovfjället. By car, it is an 8-minute drive to Hovfjället's ski lift, a variety of signposted and divinely beautiful hiking trails. There is also a rowboat to borrow. The surroundings are known for offering a rich supply of berries and mushrooms. In winter, there are rich opportunities for cross-country skiing and ice fishing.

Here, there are all the possibilities to have an active vacation or just relax and enjoy the tranquility. It is 4 km to Torsby town and only 5 minutes' drive to Torsby Ski Tunnel and Sports Center. Directly outside the cottage, there are opportunities for biking, hiking or running. For those interested in golf, it is 4 km to Torsby's golf course. In winter, there are great opportunities for cross-country skiing and downhill skiing.

Some nearby attractions are Hovfjället with ski resort and snowmobile trails, Torsby ski tunnel with cross-country skiing all year round, Mormors Glasscafé with incredibly good ice cream! Also beautiful nature all around, with everything from Tossebergsklätten to Lake Fryken.

The cottage is located with a lake view of the lake velen with only 10 minutes from Torsby city center. Some amusements located nearby are Hovfjället with ski resort and snowmobile trails, Torsby ski tunnel with cross-country skiing all year round. If you enjoy hiking, a trip up to Skallastugan is recommended up on the mountain, to see the beautiful nature. With the beachfront location to Lake Velen, there are nice opportunities for both fishing and swimming. Boat available to hire.
