The Boathouse, Felixstowe Ferry

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Amazing location and amazing views!!!! The house has everything you need for a great stay and the day bed was a personal favourite. The only downside is the lack of formal / private outside space but if you look at the photos that should be obvious. I would also avoid Felixstowe (the nearest town).

An antique boxing poster is showcased in a black frame, featuring faded text announcing a match between Billy Danahar and Ambrose. The paper's edges are worn, and the overall color palette includes earthy tones. Historical details and typography are clearly visible.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Secluded, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful little space for a perfect getaway. We sat and played games all evening by the fire. Everything you need for an easy stay. Perfect for dogs due to the space and secure perimeter. The bed is very comfortable. The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant. We came away feeling very relaxed. We will definitely be rebooking.

Old Bank Cottage

We enjoyed staying at Beverly’s place, it’s right around the corner from the sea and has lots to do around it, including a small cinema. It was lovely and quiet at night as well! Thank you! We’ll stay again if we can!

The Granary - Suffolk Countryside Retreat

SandieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was our first stay on a month long road trip through the UK and this beautiful accommodation has certainly set a very high bar. The Granary is elegantly furnished, cosy and very comfortable, and Anne's attention to detail provided everything that is required for a relaxing holiday. The surrounding countryside is picturesque and peaceful but within striking distance to market towns and lovely pubs and restaurants. Anne's guide book was informative and knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area. We loved our stay at the Granary, would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to enjoy the Suffolk countryside.

Stunning sea views from beach front town house!

JacquelineRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Clear instructions provided on how to find the house, which benefitted from on-site parking for two cars. The house was comfortable and spacious enough for all four of us, and had great views over the bay, especially from the 2nd floor balcony, which was also a great spot for an early morning coffee. Peaceful location, adjacent to the prom/beach yet only a few minutes walk to the nearest restaurants/cafes/shops. Felixstowe town centre with all its shops, and Landguard nature reserve were also within walking distance. The house met all of our needs and we had a very enjoyable few days away.
