Family-friendly vacation rentals in Faro

We had a wonderful stay at Cor and Lucia's apartment! The space was incredibly well-equipped, spacious, and spotless—everything we needed was right was available. The apartment felt like a true home away from home. Cor and Lucia were such kind and responsive hosts, always quick to communicate and eager to make sure everything was perfect for our stay. We were also warmly welcomed by Carla, who were both pleasant and extremely helpful throughout our visit. It’s clear that the entire team genuinely cares about their guests' experience. Highly recommended—would absolutely stay here again!

We loved staying at Marlene's place! The location can't be beat. The views were amazing and we enjoyed the easy access to the beach and the walking trails along the cliffs. We found the walk to town totally doable (10-15mins) with also a few restaurants even closer (Mar, Luca's rooftop, etc.). The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Das AirBnB war echt traumhaft. Tolle Lage, schönes Grundstück mit traumhaftem Pool und toller Outdoor-Küche mitten in der Natur. Wer Tiere (so wie wir) liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Birgit war eine super sympathische und aufmerksame Gastgeberin. Wir haben von ihr super gute Tipps für die Gegend (Strände und Essens-Spots) bekommen und konnten die Algarve so perfekt erkunden. Wir haben uns direkt sehr wohl gefühlt und sind traurig, dass wir nach einer super schönen Woche wieder abreisen mussten. Die Quinta Avalon ist eine echte Herzens-Empfehlung, besonders auch wegen den Hunden und Katzen, für die Birgit ein tolles Zuhause bietet. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut ihr Gast zu sein und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Liebe Grüße

Great place to stay. Great host giving us lots of useful tips. Very friendly, exactly as described. Good location for accessing beaches, towns and countryside. a Although you do have to drive everywhere. Would go back tomorrow!!

Honestly, I can’t say enough about Ana on how she went above and beyond to make my weekend celebrating my birthday and bachelorette with my friends special! She went as far as to in on the surprise to ensure that I was completely blown away! The villa is spectacular and my only regret is the number of balloons we left lying around when we left (sorry Ana). The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, great convenient location with a grocery store and cafes nearby. Also wasn’t too far to get to the main strip! I highly recommend booking this gorgeous villa!

A charming and eclectic place with a magical vibe. We stayed in Honeysuckle cottage, which has the kitchen/living in a separate entrance but this actually made us spend more time in this room which became our favourite. Beautiful antique furniture! The garden is absolutely stunning and you’ll have a beautiful time even if you don’t go anywhere else. The owners are lovely and kind people, always responsive and helpful with recommendations.

Carla’s Villa Abaton ,Estoi (pronounced”Stoi”) exceeded all expectations, very spacious ,clean ,comfortable and quiet, solid structure keeping noise in the Villa to a minimum to other rooms. Will recommend Villa to anyone who wants an authentic (Rural)area to stay in. Top stars go to Carla’s Villa

This is a beautiful home in a beautiful peaceful location. It is exactly how it is described and more. So much space and everything you need. The view is stunning - and lots of chairs/loungers to sit on to enjoy it. We knew Carolina was there if we needed her - but we didnt as everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this home and would love to return.

This is one of the best Air B&B’s I have ever been to. Such a nice apartment, super clean, the bed was so comfortable, in a nice quiet location and close to bars/shops. When we checked in to the Airbnb, we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hosts had left food and drinks for us in the fridge as a welcome gesture. It was a thoughtful touch that we haven’t experienced at any other Airbnb, and it really stood out. When we come back to Faro we will 100% be staying here again. A modern, high quality apartment in a very convenient location. Air conditioning was excellent. Comfortable bed. Roof terrace was a quiet and private place for evening rest.

A fantastic apartment in a beautiful sea front location. Very well equipped with everything you could need for a great stay. Outstandingly clean and superbly presented. The location is brilliant as short trip to all the key Algarve spots and wide range of minimarts and services within a few minutes walk. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend.

Pedro was a great host and was super responsive. The location was absolutely perfect, as it was close to lots of action and also was great to access day travel throughout the Algarve. Thanks Pedro!

The location was easy to find and it was a 10 minute taxi ride from the airport. The host, Rossimery, was very responsive. Our flight arrived later than expected and she was there to greet us even though it was close to 11pm at night. She was very understanding about the late arrival. The apartment is very spacious and the views are great! The location was also amazing, just a short 5 minute walk to the restaurants, bars and shopping. We would stay here again.

O Jorge é um anfitrião simpático e prestativo! Apesar do nosso check-in bastante tardio, fez questão de nos receber pessoalmente. Gostamos do espaço e da localização, pelo que recomendamos a um casal que queira ficar próximo da marginal de Olhão, mas simultaneamente numa rua sossegada.

Die Kommunikation mit Nicolo war super, die Wohnung leicht zu finden und wie beschrieben. Da die Wohnung an die belebte Innenstadt angrenzt war in der Straße vor der Wohnung oft viel Verkehr, ansonsten war die Wohnung ruhig und hatte den Vorteil nah an allem (Strand, Restaurants etc.) zu sein. Die Terrassen waren traumhaft.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in Carvoeiro und der Wohnung. Die Lage ist für uns genau richtig gewesen und die Wohnung hatte alle unsere Wünsche erfüllt. Wir kommen sicher wieder. Tolle Gegend mit vielen Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen. Danke an Petro für viele Tipps und auch dank an seine Familie ! Wir wünschen alles erdenklich Gute für die Zukunft. Absolutely loved this airbnb. In a prefect walkable location, and easy to drive to with parking. The apartment was gorgeous with everything we needed. Highly recommended

The property (we were there 18 nights) is actually located in Luz, not in Lagos, which is 3-4 miles away. That worked out well for us. Luz offers newer and larger accommodations for more reasonable prices than Lagos. We had a beautiful two bedroom penthouse with floor to ceiling windows offering great views of the Atlantic. The beach is a short walk. At night, it is quiet. A market is close by. There are a couple of good restaurants close by. The beach was nice and was actually more convenient than getting to the beach in Lagos. It was no problem getting to Lagos if you want to dine out. We had a car (10-15 minute drive) but taxis, Uber and public transportation is also available. We never met Ben, but he was very prompt in answering our every question. The apartment was clean, up to date and comfortable. We would stay there again.

Das liebevoll renovierte Haus ist perfekt für jeden, der die Natur und Garten liebt, Ruhe und Erholung sucht und doch die Algarve kennenlernen möchte. Die Kommunikation mit Jan ist schnell und unkompliziert- wir hatten bei ihm die schönste Zeit während unseres Urlaubs.

Miguel was a great host and the house was perfect. It is very well-situated in Luz near restaurants, the beach, and the town center. The kitchen had great amenities and the deck areas were very comfortable.

We had an amazing stay at Hugo’s place - definitely one of the best spots in Arrifana! The location is unbeatable.. right on the beach with stunning ocean views and the peaceful sound of waves all day long. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. The apartment was super clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Simple but cozy, with all the essentials. Hugo was an exceptional host- very friendly, responsive, and always available if we needed anything. Great communication throughout our stay. The area is perfect for surfing with plenty of rental shops nearby, plus great restaurants within walking distance. Aljezur is only about 15 minutes away if you need supermarkets or extra supplies. Would absolutely recommend and can’t wait to come back!

We stayed here for a week and it was perfect! The beaches are only a 15-20 minute walk away or a 10 minute bike ride! Definitely recommend that. The house is great and the garden is beautiful! The plunge pool was perfect for the hot days! I would 100% recommend this place :)
