Otherwise, for those who prefer, the local shop, cafe & liquor store is across the road! Pukenui is a great stop on the way to or from Cape Reinga. We are in the heart of Pukenui, a small quiet community. As hosts we share the property should you need any assistance during your stay.

2 minute walk to beautiful Taipa beach - perfect for swimming, diving, fishing & with a boat ramp to launch your boat or jet skis. Kick back and relax in this recently renovated cosy two bedroom unit with brand new kitchen and bathroom. The property has easy access to the estuary which is suitable for paddle boarding, kayaking etc. Cafe, restaurant, takeaways, bakery and shops all within walking distance. Park up and relax with everything you need on your doorstep.

Ahipara Surf Breaks

My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids). We have easy access to the property with a lock up double garage plus off street parking (even for a boat). The beach is only a short walk from the house. We live in a house on the same property so we are always available to help with any questions you have. Surfboards and boogie boards are available for use free of charge.

Just a short drive from the Cape Brett Track, it’s perfect for scenic coastal hikes. Russell’s historic village, cafes, and waterfront are only 25 minutes away. Beautiful beaches including Oke Bay, Elliots Bay and Taupiri Bay are an easy 15‑minute drive.

Waterfront historic Bakery cottage

Located on the shores of the tranquil Mangonui harbour with Doubtless Bay beaches very close by. She (the cottage) is cute and eclectic with spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the view and location. Its a short walk to Mangonui village shops and cafes. The covered courtyard at the rear of the property is private, furnished and with a Weber BBQ to enjoy outdoor dining.
