Vacation rentals with a kayak in Fairfield County

We had the most fun and relaxing weekend here, enjoying the pool and hot tub, taking in the gorgeous surroundings, and sharing meals in the comfortable and homey kitchen and dining areas. Char was a wonderful host! She clearly communicated instructions, provided suggestions for restaurants and activities nearby, and made us feel welcome in her home. I would highly recommend staying here for a gathering with family/friends!

This house is even more beautiful than the pictures. It was tastefully decorated for the holidays and she left some lights on for our arrival. The space is warm and inviting and we felt immediately at home. The house is impeccably decorated, both modern and cozy. Comfortable furnishings, soft textiles, gorgeous plants, perfect lighting, great views. The perfect space to relax and enjoy. Ashley is an ideal host. She is kind and thoughtful. You can tell she really wants her guests to feel welcome. She was always available to answer a quick question or suggest a recommendation. She even remembered my daughter's birthday! We took advantage of the beautiful surroundings and went on a great hike nearby. We also went into "town." Grandpa Joe's Candy Shop is a fun quirky shop that's worth a visit. Overall, a great stay. Will absolutely stay at Ashley's again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay! We brought our dogs and we all loved the fenced backyard. It was a convenient location to several good places for meals, hanging out and for walking with the pups. Monica was very helpful ~ when the TV didn't work (because our dog knocked the plug for the router out of the way!!) she was very helpful and got us back on track. We had a few questions about things upon arrival and they were all addressed very quickly! The surrounding neighborhood isn't great, but we had no issues. The house is very close to the water but I couldn't see water from the house. I would certainly return to this home again!

Nice quaint spot pretty close to all the trails of hocking hills. Felt private enough despite having a few neighbors near bye. Great fishing spot just a walk away from the cottage. Only issue was that there is no air conditioning from what we saw. Tried lowering the thermostat but didn’t do anything. Couldn’t find any air vents for where an AC would come from. Recommend bringing fans for the hotter months but luckily it wasn’t too hot and opening the windows brought a good breeze in.

This was a wonderful place to stay! Just outside of town so it was quite and peaceful, but close enough to get to all of our family in town. It was clean and comfortable, and the host was wonderful at communicating with us. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was just what we needed while in town for a family event: A quiet neighborhood with a beautiful, serene back yard space. Lots of space for people to spread out and come together, as needed. A well-stocked kitchen where I was able to cook several huge dishes to take to the event. Thank you, Nathan, for making the weekend so much easier on me and my family. (And for being so quick to respond to my questions!)

Evolve and the local contact Nate were very responsive throughout our stay. We would happily stay there again anytime!

We really enjoyed our weekend getaway here. Everything was clean and I was impressed that the kitchen was very well stocked. The hot water flowed great so the showers were glorious. The only thing that I noticed was the bed seemed to be a little wobbly.

We made multiple adjustments to our stay and Rachel was fabulous at quick responses and accommodating to OUR needs. I 1000% recommend staying at any of her locations. Adorable home ! great neighbors as well ! Jenn & Ben Parker

This was our second time staying at Ann’s. We love it so much here. It’s beautiful and has everything you need. Even with the rainy weather, we still went out to hike but it was great to come back and have a place with things to do on the property as well. Thank you for another great weekend!

Great place to get away for the weekend private and peaceful back at the end of the drive!

They were incredibly responsive hosts and made our trip that much easier! We had an issue with the door code but they helped us get in asap. The house was perfect for a kid—our toddler was thrilled to have so many fun toys to play with especially with not having great weather to play outside.

I can’t say enough about this cabin! The property was beautiful! There was so much to do for every age of our family. Having everything you need right at the house so you don’t have to leave is very nice! The house was clean and Logan was very responsive for any issues that may have came up!

Little slice of Heaven! My family had an amazing stay at Red Brick Ranch! The surroundings were absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful and quiet retreat that felt like a true escape from the hustle and bustle. The property was clean and well-kept, making it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights was the relaxing hot tub – perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. It was incredibly soothing and added a special touch to the overall experience. The game room was enjoyable for the kids and adults! Shay was exceptionally responsive and attentive, always making sure that we had everything we needed. When the weather didn’t cooperate, he went above and beyond, suggesting a variety of activities that kept us entertained and ensured our stay remained enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a tranquil and well-maintained getaway with a host who truly cares about their guests’ comfort.

What a beautiful place to stay! Peaceful and in the woods, just what we wanted. We had no idea we would be in a camp ground. There were decent trails right there, which was nice, but definitely don’t miss Hocking Hills! A couple amenities were listed in the AirBnb listing that are no longer offered, like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and I thought wood for the fireplace was included—which it was until the last day, then we were told to buy it for $5/bundle. The listing just needs tweaked. We had everything we needed to cook breakfast and make a couple dinners, so kitchen was well equipped. Over all, a great place to spend a short honeymoon. I will return if we don’t have our RV next trip. And…. Might call to see if we can park here a couple days if we do have it.

Beautiful Loft, responsive host, easy to get to.

This place was exactly what I needed! It was beautiful inside and out! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to prepare a meal and there were plenty of towels for showering and the hot tub. It was a great place to spend time hanging out with the family or enjoying some quite me time reading a book on the swing and listening to the sounds of nature. Kevin was an amazing host and always quick to respond to my questions. He was also helpful with suggestions on the best places to go for my long weekend. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Just make sure if you’re using navigation you put in where you want to go before you leave as cell service is definitely spotty once you leave the cabin!

We ready enjoyed staying here! The host provided many fun/ cool things to do such as an air hockey table, hammock, fire pit and more. Everything went smoothly and the communication was perfect. Highly recommend!

My daughters and I were looking for a peaceful retreat to get away from the crowds of Athens for Mom's Weekend at Ohio University, and we found the perfect spot! From the moment we walked into the door of this cozy cabin, we felt relaxed and content. Liz provided all the essentials and so many extras- from fully a stocked kitchen to locally ground coffee, as well as extra treats for us and even our dog :-) It was a rainy weekend so we didn't get to take advantage of the hiking trails or nearby lake activities, but it was wonderful just sitting on the lovely screened-in back porch overlooking private, quiet woods. I am ready to go back! Thanks so much for everything!
