This little log cabin gives guests an authentic Alaskan experience of "damp" (running water at the sink, heated outhouse, no shower) cabin living with all the creature comforts in a cozy spot nestled in the woods. It's close to town, but far enough away to see auroras in the dark winter skies. Close to trails and local entertainment and food, but you just might see a moose walk by.

We built the Rocky Top AirBnB as an Aurora-viewing, winter-loving house: its walls are a foot thick, with radiant floors heated by an environmentally-friendly vegetable-oil boiler.
