Due to the seclusion, we were lucky to see aurora lights right outside our front door. The place has everything you need and we felt very much at home. Elsa's house is the perfect place to stay while exploring the golden circle and south of Iceland. The house is very cosy but definitely not too small for a family of five, well equipped and in walking distance from the beach. The hot tub is just amazing and also has a really great view. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute of it.

Dana was an extraordinary host who went above and beyond to help make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Very responsive and friendly and easy to approach. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe and comfortable which can be quite rare. Everything was perfect. The place was immaculate and the location was exactly where I needed to be to decompress.
