Family-friendly vacation rentals in Eymoutiers

Place is good. Beautiful a river flowing through property private fibre boat which is unique. Lots of things to do.

For what was a budget friendly stay for us we were happy with the accommodation and it’s facilities. The hot tub was perfect to enjoy at any time of the day and was totally private. Our dog Merlin had plenty of space to explore the gardens and plenty of beautiful walks nearby. Although we were there out of season, there was still many things in the local area to do. We highly recommend visiting Chamberet to hire some electric bikes and tour the wonderful scenery. Seems to be lots of English in the area which meant many restaurants/places of interest had English speakers. Although not essential for us, it could be beneficial for future guests whom may struggle with the French language. We only had one negative to our experience and it was that the double bed wasn’t at all comfortable. Although, we appreciate for some, the hard spring mattress may be exactly what they like. Never the less, we spend the rest of our stay on the two single beds instead which were a little better for us.

A lovely gite in a wonderful rural location but with good road access for exploring the area. A really well equipped kitchen and as we like to cook when on holiday this was especially appreciated. Nice downstairs space in particular with simply the best woodburner we have seen. Very responsive and friendly relaxed hosts. Recommended all round.

Great house for 2 families, perfect for what we wanted. Lots of seating areas, kitchen was really well equipped. Pool and hot tub awesome. Nearby lake is good for beach and water sports. Hosts were great and gave good recommendation for a food festival in a nearby town. The house is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, which was great most of the time but if you want restaurants or activities it’s a drive. I would recommend the house though as it’s really well set up for a week with friends or family.

An excellent time spent at Catherine and Michel's, very welcoming hosts, very nice. We were able to visit the honey house, a very nice and rewarding moment. The house is beautiful and impeccable, family atmosphere is friendly. I recommend Catherine and Michel 100%.

Very nice house with a very nice view! You can find everything you need, it feels like a family home, it's warm and comfortable. The environment is quiet but close to amenities, a beautiful base to explore the area.

The house is ideally located in the city center. Parking is easy right out front. The kitchen is very well equipped, the rooms are large and pleasant. Highly recommend!

Extremely pleasant 15-day stay, in a truly exceptional environment. We loved this garden, which we walked through several times a day. Each time we made discoveries! The proximity to the animals was great. Gîte located 7 km from the first shop, so no constraints on this side. We'll be back without hesitation!

Aernoud’s house is stylish, warm and very relaxing. Very comfortable beds, good quality linen, beautiful toiletries and diffusers around the house. Kitchen is very well equipped and easy to use. We stayed in February so the wood burner was wonderful! The garden is well equipped and bathed in sunshine, we would love to go back in summertime. The cinema/games room was a lovely addition. There were 7 of us and we had lots of space to spread out and relax as a group or alone. The bakery is very good and there is a restaurant in the village although it wasn’t open when we stayed. We will definitely be back!

A very clean house with a Creusois charm quite in the image of Arpeix, a place of rest. A wood-burning stove lit when we arrived, an intoxicating heat and softness of materials that make the accommodation a warm cocoon. A natural setting nearby and a calm that is both pleasant and wild at the same time... Great place.

We had a great week at Laurence's. The cottage is very nice, with lots of charm. The accommodation is very clean and well arranged. The outdoors is beautiful, quiet, with many spaces to settle in and enjoy the calm. The pool and trampoline delighted the kids. Laurence is very nice, always available, she shared her little gems about the area with us. Perfect stay!

We have just returned after two weeks in Cubjac staying in this wonderful house. Our three kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool (plus inflatables), and the extensive grounds. All meals were outside with daily 5-minute walk to the local boulangerie. We also enjoyed the local markets on the set days. Cooked all our food on the BBQ. The area has some great forests for hikes and mountain biking. Great stay and will definitely be back. Thank you Alexandre!

Wonderful stay despite the intense weather. Dominique and Elise were very responsive in communication. The place is idyllic and great for a gathering of friends or family. We'll be back!

Nicolas' house is a little paradise,😊 a peaceful oasis. We stayed there as a family and we were all delighted, we were guided by Patrick who is adorable and responsive to any request. We'll be happy to go back.

A beautiful house, even better than in the pictures. Annie is very kind. I highly recommend it.

The location was convenient for walking into the little village of Cubjac with many surrounding towns within an hours drive. The kitchen had all of the amenities we needed which was perfect as we cooked most of our meals at the house. We also appreciated the charcoal grill. The property was absolutely stunning. We were in awe of the main house as we drove up the driveway. We enjoyed walking around the garden and on the trails in the surrounding woods. The bed was comfortable and the dining room, living room, and outdoor seating was perfect for 2 couples. The bathrooms were clean and the water pressure was good for showers. We did learn that you won’t get hot water if you try to shower while the dishwasher is running. 😂 Communication with Catherine and Maxence was great. They were always responsive and Maxence very insightfully helped us plan our itineraries for several day trips including markets, wineries, hikes, and gardens.

Great stay at Renata's! Even better than in the photos, the house is well equipped, magnificent gardens and views of the valley, beautiful swimming pool, the best game room for children as well as outdoor games (cabin, swing, hammock, ping pong...) really has everything you need! Nearby activities, Hautefort castle, Lascaux cave, hook branches... Renata is a very friendly woman, attentive and understanding, I recommend it without hesitating!
