Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Exeter

This was a truly beautiful home that was perfect for our week along the coast of Connecticut. The home was impeccably clean and setup with an amazing bathroom and kitchen. Set in a peaceful area north of Niantic, it was a perfect place for my family and I to head out to many coastal adventures. We had close access to Mystic and New Haven with a short road trip to Newport. Jason and Colleen were wonderful hosts and have setup their place amazingly easy to get in and utilize. From the available bikes in the basement to the games my kids quickly found to play, this was a perfect place for us this week. Highly recommend to others looking for a great CT coastline getaway!

Judy was a great host and offered us a great stay. She was very responsive and aided us in a wonderful trip. I would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay clean and close to the event we went to… they were helpful and allowed us to stay 1 hr longer for our convenience… there was only one TV in the house so if you have kids make sure they have their tablets or they will control the one TV other than that it was enough space for us…. Our family opted for a trip to New London to reconnect with our family for Thanksgiving. We were able to utilize the beautiful dining room for our dinner . We loved staying at Rosa’s place and were very comfortable . Just a note - there is only one bathroom and it is on the second floor ( as are all the bedrooms) We made this work but can be difficult with a larger family . It would definitely not deter me from booking again! This place was beautiful. The surrounding area and ease of access was comforting ! Would definitely stay here again .

Absolutely wonderful place to stay. Beautiful sunset comes right into the upstairs bedroom and balcony for views. Back deck is right on waters edge. It’s the perfect spot to get away from the noise. Kayaks for the lake were awesome. Definitely going to make this a permanent getaway! Thank you Josh for everything! See you soon!

This was a perfect place to stay with our dog and 2 small children. The fenced in yard was secure. You can easily walk to many restaurants, or like us, just for fun with the dog and kids. Joe was immediately responsive when I messaged him with questions and when I inquired about a late check out, he was happy to let us stay a few hours longer which was really nice.

Peaceful, clean and relaxing getaway for our family & pup. Enjoyed the spacious & comfortable home as well as kayaking on the lake. No need to ever leave the home if seeking a relaxing getaway. Very responsive host.

I was visiting for the holidays, and happy to find Monica's listing was in easy proximity to family and friends. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and I felt right at home. Though I didn't cook as I was out so much, I did note the kitchen was well supplied. The entire place was clean, neat and as pictured. The large backyard is securely fenced, which with two small dogs I really appreciated. Watching my young dog zip around while I stood on the deck above was great fun. It was an enjoyable stay and I'd re-book for future visits.

Staying at Robert’s place was such a great experience. The property was beautiful, and the surrounding area was calm and scenic making it feel like a perfect getaway. Robert was super responsive and easy to talk to, which made everything smooth from start to finish. It was really nice meeting him in person—he even greeted us in Swedish and gave us a little tour of the place, which made us feel extra welcome. We look forward to come visit again to explore the area more!

Annette’s place was perfect! There is always a person at the concierge desk if you have questions. The building is very safe as a key fob is needed to get in and also devices to access the garage area. The place is open and feels bigger than it is for a one bedroom apartment. We chose this area as we were going to the Amica Mutual Pavillion for a concert and we were able to walk to and from the event. We also went into Newport about a 30 minute drive to see the mansions and the cliff walk. It was a quick and relaxing getaway! Would definitely stay here again. Thank you! Marie C.

Sean’s home was in a great location in Federal Hill, walkable to lots of restaurants and shops and east access to downtown and other neighborhoods. Everything with the home was clear and as described. We’d stay again next time we’re in Providence!

This was a great spot for us. It was easy to get in and out and explore around. We really enjoyed the use of this apartment, it met all our needs, was clean and tidy and had all we could ask for. We enjoyed getting to explore around the town and were appreciative of the helpful guidebook that was provided in the apartment. She was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed talking with her as we came and went during our time. The neighborhood is a cool area that we enjoyed exploring. This spot helped make our trip a great one.

We had a very comfortable relaxed stay! The space was clean and well equipped. The beds were soooo comfortable as was all the living room furniture! Craig was very responsive and accommodating to our schedule. We lived the location and made two visits to the close by Big Red slide and walked the beach! So close! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to return.

Clare was a fantastic host. She helped us with getting around which was super helpful because we didn’t have a car. Her food recommendations were great. All in all, she created a warm and welcoming atmosphere which made our stay in Montauk a beautiful experience. Thanks for everything!

This was a true gem--the best experience I have had in over 15 yrs of using AirBnb! The attic apartment is as cozy as it looks online, tastefully designed with an aesthetic eye, spotlessly clean, and super well-appointed. The space is lovely and quite luxurious. I am very glad I stayed there as a long-term renter. The weather was not too hot or cold when I stayed, but the heating was easy and controllable by room. Knowing I would be needing to cook meals, do laundry, etc., Susan had truly equipped the apartment with everything I might need, including getting a new countertop oven for baking in case I needed it. She and her family were always helpful and had lots of local suggestions of things to do/see/eat, as needed. They live in the building and Susan is super responsive! The neighborhood is quiet, walkable, and its easy to get to/from Brown Univ. I felt safe walking home even after dark. I would stay here again, no question, and I hope I have a chance to come back soon!

I didnt want to leave this little cabin in the woods. It felt rustic but had all the modern amenities you would expect in a home. From the rocking chairs on the porch to the comfy beds, there is nothing I could complain about, even if I tried. Marilyn gave excellent suggestions of places to eat and local current events. We left with fall apples, bellies full of clam chowder, and gigantic smiles!!! We have already started planning our return!

Great find! Hidden cottage away from the road, with lots of space to sit indoors and outdoors. Master bedroom spacious but missing blinds, make sure to bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in! Enjoyed our stay!

I really liked all the outdoor activities my daughter and I did! Karen let us borrow the games inside the cabinet and they were pretty interesting. There's a lot of beds, and they are all comfortable. I really like the view when we were sleeping on one of the bed because you can see the lake when the sun sets or rises. It's really beautiful and I really liked spending time on the canoe and having this vacation! My family and I loved coming here and hope that we can come again. Second time staying at this location. Very well equipped (has everything one needs for the stay -- all basic pots/pans and utensils, olive oil/salt/sugar, trash bags/kitchen towels and more). Great perk in booking with airbnb was that the price included bottled water, s'more kit, 3 packs of firewood and starter (which in total was about $50+ worth when purchasing at site). Clean cabin, spacious beds. Although all the cabins around were full, it was very quiet. We stayed at the two-bed cabin and it worked great with our two young kids. Overall, a very easy escape from the city!

Gary was extremely helpful and responsive. The house is beautifully designed. The only downside was the ticks—we found several on our dog throughout our stay. Apparently, male ticks are less likely to transmit diseases, but I’d recommend giving your dog tick prevention medication before your trip, just to be safe.

If you are looking for a rustic cabin (no plumbing or electricity) with gorgeous New England views—this is your place! Grilling your meals on the propane grill is perfect! The mini generator is helpful to charge or use the lamp Lisa has in the cabin. Get there as soon as you can to enjoy as much sunlight as possible! The ride up the mountain towards the cabin is quite the ride—go slow as stated…. :)
