Nice host. Very nice views from the house. Although difficult to access, the last set of stairs.

It's been a wonderful vacation - the place is perfect for rest, and the photos don't do it justice. The property consists of four houses, one common (with pool, treadmill, etc.) and several lounging areas around the pool, clean and good size, as well as a pond full of fish. In the area there are several villages with supermarkets and good restaurants; Évora is 40 minutes away. It is a perfect place to get to know the Alentejo and spend the day for example in Lisbon or Évora. The owners, Mathieu and Martha, are absolutely lovely, attentive, polite and respectful. They have been attentive to our needs without being invasive. We are sure that we will repeat it, and we highly recommend it to everyone.

I had a great experience in this Airbnb hosting! The house was very spacious and clean, which made my stay very comfortable. In addition, the location was incredible, with a huge public park just steps away. The park had padel courts, a soccer field and plenty of space to walk and play sports. It was great to be able to take advantage of the park facilities during my stay. Another positive point was the proximity of a market with a great variety of options, being just a few meters from the house. This made it very easy to buy groceries and meals during my stay. I strongly recommend this accommodation for those looking for a comfortable, clean place with great leisure options and outdoor activities nearby, as well as easy access to a market. I will certainly be staying here again at the next chance!

We had a fantastic time with Marthe and Mathieu. They are both super friendly and hospitable and want to make their guests feel very comfortable. Always approachable and repeatedly asked us if everything was going well and we were satisfied. For us, the kitchen supplies could be a little more extensive, as we like to cook on vacation.

Very spacious house with pleasant terraces and a lovely swimming pool. Carlos and his wife welcomed us with open arms! They were very friendly and very flexible with check-in and check-out. Absolutely recommended!

Mrs. Isabel has and establishes a sympathetic awareness for the guest and that puts a very genuine niceness, making one feel free to ask about anything. The description is on point and we received more than what we expected not just physically but a depth in tranquility appreciably enough with the multi-color faded canvas-streaked like sunset. Safara, Alentejo for us was an escapade as we witnessed our life majorly in the concrete jungles. Digressing, the people of the village are too sweet it has 3 grocery shops, some(3-4) small cafes and 2 restaurants (the one behind the church run by the man named José has the most amazing gin and tonic you would expect from a place like this and the food is top quality). For connection there is one bus in the evening which comes from Lisboa - Sobral da Adica which can drop you in Safara and Vice versa in the morning.

For a week-end early April it was really nice to stay in the studio , with a very friendly cat for company, in the middle of the beautiful Alentejo country side surrounded the place , and a spectacular view specially early morning watching the sun rises, it was something very special to live. I will never forget .

Fantastic walking distance to all the sights of Evora. Comfortable beds. Great to have parking space. Pasteleria below was great for breakfast!

The place is quite nice and excellent location. It was a shame that we did not enjoy the terrace, because time did not help. Communication with the host was very easy and quick.

Charming, unique and huge house in the center of beautiful Evora. We had a great experience staying in this building and Paulo was a very responsive and friendly host. We will be happy to come back!

We stayed in Casa das letras and loved the place. It's so cozy and all the details made us felt so welcomed. Every bedroom had its own bath, the beds were super comfortable. There was a lot of space. We enjoyed playing billiard in the dining room, using the well equipped kitchen, or catching a book and relax. The playground in front was perfect for us, because we had kids with us. Straight opposite of the building is a tiny shop to get necessary stuff like milk, eggs and so on. For bigger things we went to the next town, which is about 15 minutes. We chose to stay in Carbela and this house because it's very quite and you can reach everything by car easily in less than an hour, for example Lisbon, Evora, some beaches and other interesting places. Catarina was super nice, she gave us straight support whenever we needed something. We highly recommend the place for families or people who want to calm down and enjoy their time. Hopefully we can come back some day. All the best to everyone

Beautiful old house on a hill with a magnificent view. Well-equipped house and very welcoming host.

The road to get to the house is very bumpy, but that's well described. Paul will be waiting for you half way up. The house is really beautiful, very comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful, quiet and peaceful. There are many beautiful places to visit in the area and it was coming back home every night. Unfortunately, we did not have a walk through the cork orchard and no winetasting. We'll go back for that, too. Very nice place!!!!!!

We had a lovely stay at Joaquim’s place. It is a large studio space (possibly a former dance studio?), with a well equipped kitchen. We loved the swimming pool and it was so welcome in the heat. Joaquim was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay and also provided good information on Moura. The supermarkets are conveniently close at hand, and everything in the town is walking distance. We tried a couple of restaurants - Vermulhudo and André’s - both really good with a lively atmosphere. We climbed to the top of the tower at the castle, had a boat trip at the Alqueva dam, visited the oil press museum and generally enjoyed Moura which is very pretty. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back.

Truly true: a paradise on earth. 45 minutes drive from Lisbon on a quiet road, ideal to visit the city. Gigantic large house with enough bedrooms and three beautiful bathrooms. Spaciously equipped kitchen. The house is in a secluded villa neighborhood and is secured as a fort knox, with steel panels that you can close for all windows. Not only do they secure well, but they also provide less warmth inside (lack of air conditioning is actually not a miss, it stays cool enough), and screens all the sound from outside. And the pool, the giant pool: WoW. Bigger than we had at many campsites in the past. In short: not cheap, but if you want to unpack it is highly recommended.

Unique place for those looking to have a good time in tranquility and peace. We were very well received and our stay was really enjoyable! Unique experience with all the animals and wonderful scenery, not forgetting the features of the house that almost take us on a trip through time. Very lovely, we recommend 100% PS: I miss Shanty so much

We had a wonderful time at Catarina’s place. The cottage was peaceful and quiet and had all things necessary for a relaxing stay. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, which we appreciated so much as we enjoyed cooking our meals. The pool was our favourite spot during the day and the huge estate allowed for gorgeous evening walks. We loved having the dogs around and getting some cuddles in. :) We would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for a tranquil vacation, and we are hoping to return ourselves as well!

Fernanda’s place is very peaceful. You walk in and feel right at home. She has everything you could need. We sat on the patio and drank wine until dark. (That she so sweetly provided.)

It was our 2nd stay at Mariana's, and it was another great time. The house and its quiet environment are ideal for a relaxing family sehour. The pool, trampoline, basketball hoop, and BBQ, everything is done to make sure everyone has a great time! Thanks to Maria Leonor for the welcome and her kindness!

Our team of 12 found Diogo’s place to have a remote work week / team offsite. It was absolutely amazing and even better than expected. The house is beautiful and remote enough where the team could focus on offsite activities without distraction. However there is enough going on around Santarrem (10 min away) and we could have some amazing dinners and sightseeing trips. There was also a handy Staples in Santarrem where we could get last min workshop materials. Diogo was an host - very responsive and accommodating to our needs. I would definitely recommend this place.
