Pauline was an incredibly welcoming and helpful host. She went out of her way to help me find what I needed during my visit. As a result my stay in Chorley was the highlight of my holiday. I can't thank her enough.

We loved our stay at The Hivehaus. Tucked away in the Lancashire countryside, it’s peaceful, quirky, and full of charm. The design is eclectic and welcoming, with everything you need—tea, coffee, milk, pastries, and even a bottle of wine on arrival. Essentials like washing up liquid, toilet roll, and kitchen roll were all provided, plus loads of crockery and cutlery. Ed and Barry are fantastic hosts—kind, helpful, and respectful of your space. They also have two lovely, spirited dogs. We adored them, but if you're not a dog person, just let Ed know and she’ll keep them out of the way. The views from the top of the garden are beautiful and well worth the short walk. If you're after peace, comfort, and great hospitality, this place is for you. We can’t wait to go back—The Hivehaus is something really special.

Patrick's property is absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean, the bedroom is spacious and well maintained, bed very comfortable, and the property is literally a 5 minute walk from a big supermarket and a whole series of restaurants, pubs, cafes, and convenience stores. I was welcomed into a friendly environment and given plenty of information about the area, would highly recommend.

Chris was really helpful with descriptions of his home and through his communications it felt like I had been there before. Room and amenities were spotless. I’d recommend staying there especially if you’re passing through the area as it’s so close to the M6 (though it feels like you’re in a village).
