A very comfortable house. Fully equipped. Spacious bedrooms, good beds. Large " kitchen", with large dining table and good equipment and more than fully furnished. Wood stove, the wood and kindling was ready, incl. lighter! Large hobby room with billiards, shuffleboard, workout equipment and delicious, spacious sauna. Around the house in various places spacious seating with fire pits etc. Everything has been thought of and present. Surprisingly beautiful and comfortable house. The contact with the hosts is adequate. Compliments to the hosts, Jos and Anne!

Check-in and checkout were straightforward, a lot of energy was put into the decor of the accommodation, and you can tell. 👍

We were kindly received and immediately received a lot of information about the region. There was coffee, water, tea, etc. ready for us. The cottage was bigger than expected and was very clean. The kitchen is also very well equipped. The few questions we had were also answered directly.

We were very satisfied. In the vacation home there was enough space for 10 people and we didn't miss anything. The beautiful surroundings were ideal for hiking. The hostess was very friendly. Highly recommended!

We had a very nice, albeit rainy time, in Alexandra's sweet house. Everything you need is there, the dog also felt very comfortable and the garden is very nice. We'll be happy to come back. Communication with Alexandra was straightforward and easy.

We stayed here for a weekend to go hiking. It's very quiet and cosy.

We had a family vacation there. The many play opportunities, the barn, the trampoline and the chickens were great in front of all the kids. The house is well furnished and well kept. Christoph greeted us in a very friendly way and showed us everything. He was always ready to answer questions and help out. Excursions for hiking, floating and in the Eagle and Wolfspark have rounded it all off. We had a lovely time there and will certainly be back.

This was such a beautiful location to stay. We got blessed with great weather and enjoyed sunbathing and BBQs in the large open space at the rear of the property. There were nearby stores (Lidl, Aldi) available which was great for self catering. The space was clean and cosy for our stay. With plenty of utensils and facilities for our guests. The check in and check out process was stress free, and the owners were quick to reply to any enquiry’s made. Thank you so much for hosting.

Really great house. We comfortably spent the Easter weekend here with 6 adults and dog. We didn't lack anything. The terrace landscape is huge and beautiful. There are beautiful, numerous hiking opportunities in the area.

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

Markus and Carina are really lovely, tolerant people, it just shines from them. We were made to feel part of the family instantly. When we contacted them they were very responsive and assisted us with everything we needed. The apartment is spacious with plenty of cupboards and drawers, the kitchen is fully equipped as stated and was clean on entry, Nespresso machine was also really nice as we love our morning coffee. The surrounding area has beautiful walks and is very much like the Scottish Highlands, literally right outside the back door there is a lovely forest and hill walks, locals are friendly as you would expect living in such an idyllic hideaway. We very much enjoyed the fresh eggs and milk from the farms around the area. We really had a lovely time here and look forward to being able to return sometime soon.

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house! The house was absolutely clean and well maintained. The kitchen was superbly equipped so we could easily prepare our meals. Also the bathroom was modern and comfortable, and the hot tub was a real luxury that made the stay even more enjoyable. The TV was also of good quality and provided a great way to relax. The only small downside was that there were no shutters. Otherwise it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely recommend a stay!

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! Delightful and cozt stay. Great location, very quiet, and perfect distance to many activities in and out of Cologne. Clean and provides all of the essentials one might need. Fully recommend this airbnb!

Ruth offers great service. A top host. The kitchen is completely complete, even with oil, a pack of spaghetti. She had a bottle of bubbles and came to bring us eggs. Great place with our dog. You walk right into the fields to let it out and an end to walk. Recommend.

We enjoyed it very much, the hosts are very nice and straightforward. The amenities were great, especially in the kitchen. We had plenty of room to cook and eat together... not so easy for 11. It would be nice if there might be a table tennis table or a trampoline in the garden. You can make beautiful hikes in the area. Unfortunately, we only had one weekend. We can definitely recommend this house.

My brother and I were in the apartment for a weekend, we were both very satisfied and we lacked nothing :)

We had a nice week at Marie-Luise's cottage. The "painting heating" made it wonderfully warm. - From this cottage you can be in Cologne in half an hour by train. - Furthermore, you can also quickly be in nature from the cottage for a nice walk. - We'll probably come back here sometime. We had a lovely stay! The house is comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a nice kitchen for cooking or making a good cup of coffee. The cozy living room invites you to relax – perfect for a book by the fireplace or a movie night. Thanks to the nice weather, we also enjoyed a barbecue in the sunny garden. The surroundings of Kesseling are beautiful and worth exploring. You can also take beautiful walks directly from the house. An ideal base for both a relaxing and active holiday. Finally, Ben is a friendly and helpful host, who responds quickly to questions.
