Picturesque hill walks are on the doorstep and nearby highlights include Snowdonia/Eryri, Powys Castle, Lake Vyrnwy and magnificent beaches; there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. Our cosy cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, one double bed and sitting room/diner with views across the valley.

Patio doors from the lounge open onto a side garden where you can enjoy BBQs, and in the enclosed garden there are views of Bala lake and mountains. There's a kingsize bed upstairs + a kingsize sofa bed downstairs to sleep four.

The Summerhouse sits 250m from Offa's Dyke Path with access to miles of walks, ideal for anyone wanting to explore Shropshire and mid-Wales. It is a charming Grade 2 listed building, with commanding views of the Severn Valley to Montgomery. Recently refurbished - the top floor has a comfortable super-king double bed, beneath a Victorian vaulted wooden ceiling and a cosy sitting area with QLED TV and super fast fibre broadband. Yr Efail is situated in Llanfor a small village 3/4 of a mile from the market town of Bala. The property is a converted blacksmiths workshop were the owners family have worked since 1905. Recently renovated into a fully equipped self catering cottage. The property is single story providing easy access for all. Shops, restaurants and pubs are situated in Bala which you can reach by road or on foot along a footpath. We live in the village and available to recommend places to eat and visit.

Cooking area ,with mini fridge & camping stove. Parking Private parking available, the track up to the cabin is steep. There is a parking space available at the bottom of the track (50 meters away from the cabin) or you are welcome to drive up, as there is space to park and turn around at the top of the track.
