Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ettalong Beach

We had an amazing weekend getaway at this pretty house! The property was peaceful, clean, and just as described, with breathtaking views of the river. We spent our time fishing, kayaking, and even got to drive the boat provided, which was such a unique and unforgettable experience. It really made the trip feel special and adventurous. The host was responsive and made everything from check-in to check-out super easy. A perfect spot to relax, explore, and enjoy nature—highly recommended!

Incredible spot. We watched the dolphins leaping from the waves and couldn't have asked for more. We'll be back in whale season! Great setup. Highly recommended. Richard and Beck were great hosts. Really responsive and helpful. Avalon town is a great spot too. Lots of good places to eat and get coffee. minor notes: the path down to the rockpools is a little more advanced than anticipated. We turned back with our three year old. if you're napping kids in the middle of the day the blinds don't block much light coming in.

Fantastic location! Walking distance to the shops but also super close to the beach. Apartment was really well out and beautifully decorated. It was really comfortable and clean.

We found Helgas home to be exactly what we wanted, warm, clean and homely. Helga was a lovely host who always ensured we were ok and our doggo and ourselves would stay here again when visiting Pearl Beach. Thank you Helga!

Nice cosy house with 2 reasonably sized bedrooms plus 1 large bedroom. The kitchen is spacious. High range Miele dryer and Miele washing machine. Newish and clean Westinghouse dishwasher. Lots of crockery and cutlery. Coffee bags and coffee capsules aplenty. Bedlinen and towels are clean. A large supply of dishwasher tablets. Split system air conditioner is quiet and efficient. Large carport. Two large TVs. A large hot water tank so back to back long showers aren’t a problem. The room doors are quite soundproof so it is ok for the TV to be on in the living room when others are in bed. The automatic gate works perfectly, providing security for the car. The house is a 2 min walk to Ocean Beach. It is very quiet during the day and at night. The garden is immaculately kept. The only criticism I have is that the nonstick pans are all scratched with the Teflon peeling off, so they can’t be used.

It was our second time staying at Ross’s place in context of a family vacation with grandparents, my toddler and a baby. We had a great time and love the view from the terrace. Three toilets/bathrooms is a plus. Kitchen is well equipped and the place didn’t feel crowded. Patonga is a beautiful place for a getaway.

The home was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with every little detail thoughtfully arranged. From the peaceful surroundings to the cozy, stylish decor, it felt like a true getaway. The outdoor area was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the fresh air, and the whole property had such a calm, welcoming vibe. My family and I loved every part of our stay – it truly felt like a home away from home. Thank you for your warm hospitality and for creating such a special place. We would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable escape!

It was as the photos showed. Very clean and everything you need to start your stay, even cleaning products. We were very comfortable and we needed a quiet space. Loved the fact that most of the beds were ensembles and not slats that won me over straight away. Just remember if you book it is dog friendly so you will find scrapes on the screen doors which is to be expected. At least we know that next time we come down to the central coast we can bring our dog. The owners answered all our questions very promptly before we booked. Never had any need to have to make contact again as we had no issues during our stay. If I could say one thing it would be for more lighting out the back, but that would be all. It was great to stay here. The view was incredible and it was so easy to travel around the area for this place. Allan was really helpful and made sure our stay was really comfortable.

Noelene and her husband were wonderful hosts. They were so welcoming and friendly, but allowed us privacy and space. Seashells is a beautiful place, and we really appreciated the amenities they provided (the beach towels came in handy!). There was a lovely range of beaches and restaurants to visit that were close by. We would highly recommend staying here, and wish we could have stayed for longer!

Absolutely the best Airbnb we stayed at during our time in Australia. Five stars and more. The apartment was modern, beautifully furnished, and equipped with everything we needed. The highlight was waking up to stunning sunrises over the sea each morning, truly unforgettable. Spotlessly clean, super comfortable, and perfectly located. We would come back in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was just like the photos, well appointed and in easy walking distance to the Anglers Rest hotel and cafes. Joanne was a great host - very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend a stay in beautiful Brooklyn.

Second time coming back here, particularly appreciated the addition of the coffee machine with a range of pods - very nice touch. Some towels weren’t out, but found them in the closet, so no real problem there. Very clean and well appointed, I’d happily return.

This is such a gorgeous place! Very beautifully styled and very comfortable to be in. The heating was excellent and the bed super comfy. Everything you need was there and easy to find. Highly recommend.

Yantra's place was a peaceful hideaway tucked away in Avoca. The place was clean and well maintained yet cozy, had all the amenities we needed (portable stove, pots and pans, oil, utensils, washing machine, internet, dryer). The outdoor sitting area was comfortable and overlooked the beautiful garden. The place colourful and full of personality, we felt very at home during our stay. Thank you again.

What a great apartment! Close to everything we needed during our stay, loved how close it was to coles and a few other shops. Walking distance to the beach and four pines park- thanks for letting us stay in your home!

We stayed at Daniel’s place as a family with 2 young kids. We had a long drive to get there and arrived late so I couldn’t quite work out the check in instructions I messaged Daniel and he replied instantly helping me through it! Lovely large apartment directly across from the beach. Lovely location a bit quieter than the other end but a short walk to everything. There’s a few flights of stairs which we were aware of prior to booking, was a bit tricky with the kids prams and stuff but to be expected! I can’t fault the Airbnb and loved how responsive and welcoming Daniel was :) Bonus that there’s garaged parking big enough for a 4WD. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great location. Very clean and tidy with very suitable furishing. Walk into central Manly is about 5 mins. Communication was very good. Only aspect was I was unable to close curtains in bedroom due to getting caught in the tracks. Owner offered to come and fix during my stay. Overall highly recommended and i would stay there again.

What a pleasure it was to stay in this spacious, comfortable and well equipped home. Emily provides everything you need right down to umbrellas. The beautiful views over Whale Beach added a fabulous touch to this perfect airbnb. Emily and David were quick to respond, always helpful, and throughout my 10 day stay ensured that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the Northern Beaches.

Angeline's place was as good as it is listed on the portal. The place was clean as well. The earlier reviews speak for themselves. Angeline was very responsive from the time of booking, till the check out and was very flexible. She also helped with a late check out and provided some local recommendations. Overall a great stay and highly recommend other travelers!

Exactly as described, and exactly as looks in the photos. Lovely 2 bedroom apartment for us to stay in with our daughter while visiting our family on the Nothern Beaches.

Nice and peaceful place. Got everything I need. Something could’ve been done better would be extra washroom amenities. Hot water system is also a bit unstable, automatically switching hot and cold. Good experience overall. 8/10. Would recommend.
