Stone Cottage in Grounds of a 16th-Century Castle

The cottage sits on the grounds of a castle dating back to 1543 offering an authentic stay. The interior retains a decor that matches the historic charm of the area with modern comforts added and a shared pool in the stunning gardens outside. This is our smallest cottage and cannot take an additional bed or cot. The other cottages are all larger and can do this. All 3 cottages can be rented separately or together. They are in the grounds of a 16th century castle with beautiful gardens and large swimming pool enclosed by stone walls. The lower salon and summer kitchen in the main chateau is available to share. Access is by the side garden gate and all cottages are accessed by stone steps- sadly not suitable for wheelchairs. We will most likely be present living in the main Chateau and available to help and advise about restaurants and things to do in the area. We will share the pool and gardens. The old village is in a beautiful part of France that is has retained its iconic beauty through the centuries and still feels untouched by modern life in many places. Experience true local dining and bakeries with scenic walking trails all around. parking is in the church square below the Chateau. There is a local taxi service in the village and bus service to Avignon, Banyols sur Ceze and Uzes but car hire is recommended. We are 20 minutes from Avignon TGV rail station and about an hour from Marseille, Nimes or Montpellier airports. The cottages are completely private and tranquil.

L'appartement dispose d'une cuisine tout équipée, de la climatisation et d'une connexion WiFi pour votre plus grand confort. Un canapé lit peut accueillir deux personnes. Pour la partie nuit, une mezzanine avec cloison ajourée est équipée d'un lit Queen size très confortable. Sur demande un lit bébé peut-être mis à disposition.

Welcome to Le Coquelicot, a peaceful Provençal retreat nestled within the ancient walls of Le Clos des Chartreux in Villeneuve-lès-Avignon — just minutes from Avignon. This romantic and spacious studio loft is full of soul and character. With exposed stone walls, antique furniture, wooden beams, and a charming mezzanine bedroom, Le Coquelicot blends rustic elegance with modern comfort. With two full bathrooms (one on each level) and a very comfortable sofa bed, this is the perfect family spot.

Small Modern and Industrial LOFT.

Small new Industrial and Modern style LOFT of 40 m2 for 2 people (but possibility to sleep 1 child on the extra sofa.) This Loft is located on a Wine Estate in the heart of the vineyards. It is attached to the owners' bastide but totally independent. The entrance is to the north of the bastide. Access to the owners' swimming pool (from 07/01 to 09/15) and the petanque court every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the day of your arrival, the swimming pool is accessible until 7 p.m.
