Uros Ayni titicaca lodge

Het was geweldig om een nacht te mogen verblijven bij Luis en zijn familie. Hij heeft ons opgehaald van de haven en ons met zijn boot de Uros eilanden laten zien. Luis was een fijne gastheer en gids tijdens ons verblijf. Het huisje is mooi gelegen, schoon, met een prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Het ontbijt is heerlijk, zo ook de avondmaaltijd (25 Soles pp). Het was een geweldige ervaring om kennis te maken met de leefwijze op de Uros eilanden!

El alojamiento es simplemente increíble. Con una ubicación privilegiada, lo recomiendo totalmente. Además de ello Yoel te viene a buscar al puerto en una barca muy bien preparada, un anfitrión muy atento. Pedimos que nos trajera la cena y vino calentita además de deliciosa. Sin duda volvería a repetir

We took the bus from cusco to puno and arrive at night. We only stayed the night and had breakfast. Really close to the center but quiet street at night. breakfast was good, egg, bread, butter and jam. Coffee was very good. Pedro and his wife were wonderful, have a beautiful home with a terasse, cozy and well decorated with antics and potted plants. The family owned the house for over 100years. The dogs were very friendly, they love people. Their hospitality is second to none. They offered us coca tea, they made an effort to discuss with us even thought our spanish wasn't good. Tasted their puno cheese, it was delicious, didn't have the chance to ask where they got it. Would have spend another day just for them. Its cold at night in peru, a little colder in Puno but the multiple layers of wool blankets keeps you very warm. Highly recommend if you stop at puno. Muchas gracias!

UROS TITICACA LODGE Puno Peru

The Uros lodge is an amazing place! It is situated at the edge of Lake Titicaca, but away from the rest of the Uros community, so it is quite private. The hosts are very personable and took us on a tour of the Uros community on the other floating islands before going to the lodge...we even tagged a long to pick up their child from school which made it all the more special (quite a different school pick-up line than we'd ever seen before!). But don't expect it to be like a luxury hotel...it's more like glamping; water is carefully conserved, as is electricity. The meals are simple, but of high quality and generous portion sizes. If you want a quiet, beautiful place to relax and do as little as possible, this is the place! It was the highlight of our trip to Peru.

Uros titicaca wasy.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Dario et son épouse. Ils ont été très agréable, aux petits soins et réactifs. Le cadre est idyllique quand on veut se retrouver au calme et le vue sur le lac au réveil est incroyable. Les repas proposés sont très bien cuisinés et très bons. On a même eu le droit à des petites bouillottes pour avoir chaud la nuit. Car celles-ci étaient assez fraîches. Nous sommes tombés sur des nuits très humides. Prévoyez de l’argent en liquide si vous loger sur les îles, pour payer les locaux et les prestations proposées car il n’y a pas de distributeur de billets. En résumé, ce logement est très agréable et paisible avec des hôtes à la hauteur et vraiment adorables. Merci à eux. Nous recommandons cette expérience.

Loved every minute, I cannot recommend Ruben and Vicki’s place enough. They are so welcoming, the view is stunning and the bed was so comfortable and warm. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and filling, Breakfast included and dinner was a very reasonable price. They were also ready to help with any questions and made my trip easy and enjoyable. One of the best accommodations I have staying in my entire south American trip 🧡
