Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Essex

The place is nice in a great neighborhood right next to the park, and is really worth it when it’s less than all the hotels in the area. My only note is that you go down the stairs and enter the basement apartment directly- there is no separate door or key separating this space from the rest of the building and other tenants could come down if they were inclined. The bedroom door locks when you’re in it for your safety, but there is no key or code to safely lock your possessions in when you leave for the day. This was the only, but significant drawback of an otherwise great place. Although the place felt safe, we didn’t know the people there and therefore did not feel comfortable leaving our valuables in the apartment, so we had to carry our laptops, tablets, jewelry and passports for the day.

I loved staying at Thomas’s place! It’s ideally located in Mount Vernon with lots to do around the area including spots to eat and cute bars. It’s also a somewhat short walk to the train station which is convenient. The apartment is special…very quirky in a wonderful way. I had everything I needed for a comfy stay. The kitchen is fully equipped with pretty much anything you need. The bed was extremely comfortable - that’s rare to find for me! The host is super responsive and kind. All said, this is a 5/5 for everything and I’ll definitely stay again when I’m in town.

Booked this place for my parents to stay for a few days. My mom loved the place—it was cozy and had everything from TV to pots and pans and working coffee machine. Renee is very friendly host and responsive to our requests. Overall, my parents enjoyed their stay.

Bob and Beth's place was so peaceful and charming. The grounds were simply beautiful. It was so close to town which was full of quaint stores, houses, restaurants. The place was perfect for us and our pups. The inside was decorated so nicely and very clean. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay at this basement home. It was spotless, super cozy, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed. The host was really, really nice—responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. One thing to note: the listing does mention that it can be loud, and that’s definitely true at times. There are young kids upstairs, so you’ll hear running, playing, and general activity throughout the day. If you’re sensitive to noise, it can be a bit disruptive. Just something to keep in mind when booking. Otherwise, it’s a fantastic place and we truly enjoyed our time there!

This space is absolutely stunning. The natural light, the calm atmosphere, and the beautiful design all made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The gas fireplace was my favorite feature. It brought so much warmth and comfort to the space. What really impressed me was how well it is set up for longer stays. Everything was thoughtfully included, from the efficient washer and dryer to the kitchen area, steamer, and other essentials that made my business trip easy. The hosts were kind, attentive, and made everything feel smooth. I felt right at home and definitely recommend this place.

I came for a short stay after some extended stays about 5-6 years ago. This space is in a historic neighborhood and ideally situated to easily get to all of Baltimore. The space, as always, was very clean and you have everything you need to have a quiet, comfortable stay. Off-street parking is available which is a big plus.

I needed a place for my family to gather for my son’s college graduation. Carlene’s house was exactly what we needed. She responded quickly to all of my questions and the process was very easy. The house was fully renovated and immaculate. Most importantly the location was quiet and peaceful while close to downtown Baltimore and the graduation ceremony. I highly recommend Carlene as a host and this property.

Beautiful Home! Very comfortable, lots to do within walking distance...well stocked kitchen with quality cookware... everything spotless...looking forward to next years stay!

Stanley's place was a great for our two night stay. It is secluded and very private - the garden offers a private oasis and there's plenty of parking! We had four guests stay with tons of suitcases and space was not an issue. The house is older, but very clean. There are three bedrooms that can sleep 2 adults each. The bedroom off the living room is a little warmer than the rest of the house, just an fyi. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, plates etc. Overall a great stay!

I visited this place with friends, the location was really convenient since it was close to trails. We visited Gun Powder state park and north point state park for hiking. We drove to inner harbor and Annapolis for lunch and afternoon walks it was really easy, it took 30 mins and 50 mins approx respectively There is a local sea food restaurant 1 min walk from the house sea horse inn highly recommend to enjoy local brewery and sea food. Lastly, spend some quality time in the backyard which overlooked the water.

I’ve been to this location three (3) times now and each time was a pleasure. Communication was great and him allowing a late check out was fantastic (especially with multiple kids, trying to get them ready). I will continue to select this location when we have to come into town for the location, price, communication, and peace of mind knowing exactly what we’ll receive. The only issue with this last stay (and I can only assume it was due to holiday because never happened before) was the trash can being full. I do not suspect this is a regular occurrence as he is very transparent. I’d recommend this place to anyone and again, will be booking multiple times in the future as we will be traveling to MD a lot more.

Our stay at Justin’s Hot Tub Haven in Annapolis, was exactly that…a haven with a much enjoyed hot tub! Justin was exceedingly responsive, proactive, and flexible. The home is very well appointed with all the necessities, plus all the thoughtful touches like umbrellas, a doggie waste station, and bath robes to name a few. Our children loved the downstairs space (and secretly the adults were thrilled they had it too), and it felt to them like they had their own little apartment. The backyard felt like a small resort. We loved the quick walk to shops and the our boys loved the nearby basketball courts and baseball fields. We highly recommend this home and will stay here again!

I stayed at Fannie’s place for the long weekend and it was by far one of the best air b&b experience I’ve had yet. The house is beautiful, I love the furniture, and the house smells so good!! Not to mention they had a cute sign by the kitchen with my name welcoming me, and she went above and beyond having goodies for us!! The area is perfect. It’s not far from the main Baltimore area and there’s so many food places in the area that you can walk to and she had great recommendations as well. The backyard was so beautiful with the lights, the hot tub, and the outdoor room with the TV we really enjoyed our time out there. Fannie is extremely communicative with a fast turn around time, cares about her home, and is extremely helpful. I would 10000000% stay here again I love the area check out the Ethiopian cafe too!! Hosts were very helpful and very responsive when I had questions. The place was exactly as described. We were able to walk to our destination easily. The house was very neat and clean.

Perfect location for exploring Annapolis attractions via walking including Naval Academy and downtown. A bonus for me, all areas were wheelchair accessible (except balcony). Very clean and well maintained! Bed was super comfy!

Comfortable quiet condo. Across road from a playing field and walking trails. Comfortable bed, good shower, extras ( food staples, umbrella, tennis rackets etc ). Abaad very attentive, and responsive. ( watch his getting to condo video- 3rd out of 4 buildings, entrance at back ). We felt like we had a new friend in texting and speaking to him . We stayed 4 nights. Would recommend.

My family of 4 had a great stay at Ricky's place. The location couldn't be beat for going to the National Aquarium and Oriole Park. The place was really comfortable and clean. The steep stairs we read about in other reviews were not a problem for us.

Jordan and his place were both amazing. As avid gamers ourselves, this was a walk down memory lane. All linens and kitchen ware were available. You can cast your apps on the Google TVs, which is a huge bonus. There are tons of food places within 5 minutes walking distance and we were able to to walk to the CFG Bank Arena for a show with in 15-20 min. Saves on parking or Uber/Lyft costs. Jordan is extremely responsive and even recommended local eats. They were delicious. Thanm you so much, Jordan. It was a delight having you as a host.

The condo was pristine and so beautiful! The hosts were on top of all communication and flexible with us having two toddlers during our stay. It was an easy walk to Main Street and was equipped with everything we needed. Would recommend and definitely stay again!

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again.
