Lake house vacation rentals in Esparron-de-Verdon

The house met all our expectations. It is well equipped with everything you need: dishwasher, washing machine, kitchen utensils – nothing is missing. The garden is beautiful and the house exudes a charming, provincial flair. The location is ideal, very central and close to lake, bakery, supermarket and restaurants. Richard was an extremely helpful and friendly host who was always available. We felt very comfortable in the house, both with our two children and with four adults. We will be happy to come back in two years.

We had a great time at this very well-appointed house with a neat decor. Very good bedding, well-equipped, comfortable and pleasant living room. On the garden side, a tree that protects from the sun during meals and comfortable sun loungers for napping. The village is very nice and has plenty of shops (grocery store, bar, restaurants, tobacco). We went on some very nice hikes and enjoyed swimming in the nearby lakes. "Al fresco" and una Bella casa. Our stay was wonderful and it is partly thanks to this lovely accommodation, its garden, its petanque court, its garlands of lights for the evening, its outdoor game structures, its calm and of course its view and its proximity to the lake, a real little corner of paradise. The hosts were very available and very kind.

The house was perfect for our family of 4. It was very clean and comfortable. Located in Les Salles-sur-Verdon, it was close to boat rentals and water activities on the Lac Saint-Croix. The house was about a 15minute drive to Moustiers- Sainte Marie and Auguines. We were there in off-peak season so it was a little difficult to find many restraurants opened during the week. For groceries we drove to Regusse for a larger supermarket to stock up on food, there was a smaller supermarket at the entrance to Les Salles opened but only had bare essentials and the 8 A Huit supermarket around the corner from the house wasn't opened during our stay. Overall, we had a great stay. Thank you!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful place. Our dog Kajo was there, who especially enjoyed the large, fenced property. We particularly liked the fact that you can walk to the village or take nice walks directly from the house. You really only need the car for further excursions. We can highly recommend this accommodation.

Our time at this property in southern France was just wonderful! The location right on the quiet river was a dream – we could enjoy the idyllic nature and the kayaks provided were a special highlight. The house itself was clean, cozy and well equipped. The host was very friendly and provided us with valuable tips for the area. Overall a good stay – we will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the Gilbert villa in Vins-sur-Caramy! The house is spacious and well-equipped. The location is perfect for exploring the area, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Luc was very welcoming and attentive, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this perfect place for families or groups of friends.

Thanks for the stay in your lovely house, we had a great time exploring the area, hiking, renting e-bikes, paddling up the gorge etc, the lake is 5min walk away, and there are plenty of restaurants and a market on Mondays!

The cottage is stylish and charming. Aesthetically furnished yet practical. We felt great in the apartment. The location is in the middle of nature, beautiful! Patrick always answered our questions right away and was very friendly. We had a great time in Provence!

We had an amazing stay at Coralie’s place. All the facilities were as described - the house is spacious, the garden/terrain are big and private and the terrace is absolutely perfect for sunny afternoon drinks. Would recommend staying here!

As a family of 4 with 16 and 13 year old children, the cottage above the lake was the perfect base for exploring lake St. Croix and the Gorges du Verdons with all they have to offer. Hiring a couple of kayaks for the day at Quinson was a family favourite. The cottage is beautifully presented and as good as the photos are, they really don’t do it justice. The views over the lake are simply sublime. Aiguines is delightful but definitely worth booking restaurant tables in advance to avoid disappointment. Aups night market was a highlight and worth adding to the TODO list. Instructions for finding the property were very clear and communication with Max was fantastic from start to finish. 100% recommend and looking forward to a return visit. It’s a paradise! Absolutely marvelous location, and the house is a little jewelry overseeing the lake. We spent one fantastic week at Margo’s place and we totally fell in love with the region. Margo was very proactive and responsive. Everything was so easy and nice…isn’t it what we wish for a holiday? We would definitely love to return soon:) Thank you!

We loved this charming building in the middle of Bauduen. We woke to views across the lake and enjoyed walking the winding streets of Bauduen. There’s also plenty to do in the area, we mostly hiked in the Gorge du Verdon and explored the night sky at the local observatory. The bedrooms were comfortable, dark (at night) and quiet, the washrooms clean and the kitchen well equipped. We had everything we needed! Fabi and Bulle were proactive and friendly, providing clear instructions on how to access the building and what to do upon entering and leaving. Fully recommend a stay here!

For a short 2-night break, this place is perfect. Isolated and at the same time close to the village and various activities. Really a very pleasant time with the family.
