It is one hour away from Marquette, also one hour away from Picture Rocks, plus some other areas of interest in the upper peninsula. You’ll love my place because of its serene surroundings in front of the river. It is a beautiful custom log cabin in a beautiful area. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).

Great place to stay in Escanaba!! The house was well-equipped and very clean, and the perfect size for my mom and I stay for the weekend. The bed and pillows were also super comfy! Kate was an amazingly kind and responsive host, proactive and detailed in her communications. The location was also ideal, just a short walk to the bay/marina and close to many downtown restaurants. The area felt quite safe as well. There was some nearby road construction, but as we were there on the weekend, nobody was working and it was very quiet!

Top of the Door Golf Resort-#3 2 Queen Beds

We love staying on Washington Island and this was our first time at the golf course. It was convenient, clean, and comfortable. They were willing to accommodate us at the last minute (5pm) after we had to leave Rock Island unexpectedly and needed a place to stay since we'd missed the last ferry for the night. Char drove over and made sure the room was all set for us, it's lovely how people on the island all pull together and are so helpful. Had wonderful warm showers and a good night sleep in comfy beds. We didn't really even use all the amenities but the room is thoughtfully appointed. Would certainly stay again and I recommend it to everyone.

This is a quant quiet and very clean place to stay. The location is great. There was snow fall one night and they were there the next morning cleaning of the sidewalks for me. I have stayed here before and will be again in the near future.

Loved staying here! Everyone was so friendly and nice. The place was clean and easy to access. Close to downtown. Loved sitting on the patio after a night of exploring the island and being able to see the golf course. Beautiful course and clean. Would definitely be fun to come back and rent the other 2 rooms with friends and family. 10/10

If I could give a ZILLION stars I would! IMMACULATELY CLEAN, charming space! I loved sipping my morning coffee on the large porch and Lake Michigan is 2 blocks away! There is a beautiful park right along the beach that I walked every evening!
