The Vaporia area is one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of Syros. Famous for its architecture, it is located in the historic center, very close to the city and with the main feature of the neo-Greek architectural mansions hanging over the sea. Nearby are Asterias, one of the most beautiful and famous areas for swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Aegean, with the hanging buildings and the imposing church of Agios Nikolaos proudly dominating in the background. There is no sandy beach.

A beautiful traditional house in the heart of Syros town, at the exclusive picturesque 'Vaporia' neighbourhood. The house is built on the rocks, with a unique view of the Aegean sea. It is built on four levels (many steps!) with private access to the seaside and a private open terrace. The two advertised, private rooms, are located on levels 3 and 4 and are accessible through the main entrance through level 1 (street level). The host family of two and a small dog and cat, live on levels 1 & 2.

Cafeterias, mini markets, restaurants and the bus stop, as well as the Aquarium, are all in close proximity. Μοναδική, πέτρινη παραδοσιακή οικία, εντός μεσαιωνικού οικισμού Άνω Σύρου. Η κατοικία έχει αδειοδοτηθεί από τον ΕΟΤ ως τουριστικό κατάλυμα. Χρονολογείται από τα τέλη 16ου αιώνα. Πλήρως ανακαινισμένη χωρίς να έχει αλλάξει ο παραδοσιακός της χαρακτήρας. Στον πάνω όροφο βρίσκεται το καθιστικό (με έναν καναπέ-διπλό κρεβάτι) καθώς και η κουζίνα (εξωτερική). Στον κάτω όροφο βρίσκεται η κρεβατοκάμαρα, με διπλό κρεβάτι, και το μπάνιο. Ιδανική για δύο άτομα, ενώ μπορεί να φιλοξενήσει έως τέσσερα.

The view, from the large terrace, in the evening is enchanting with the lights from the ships, the buildings and the islands of Tinos and Mykonos. For your transportation to the beaches, by taxi and buses, the distance is 5 minutes walk. It is accessible by car which you can park in the surrounding streets.
