Here it is very quiet and the nature around you contributes to your recovery. At any time of the year Baltschieder is an ideal starting point for hiking and outdoor activities, in 30 - 70 minutes you can reach all the major ski and hiking resorts. In case of bad weather there are thermal baths or indoor sports halls nearby.

My accommodation is close to family-friendly activities. You'll love my place because of the location. Here in the Saas Valley, adults must pay CHF 10.5 and children between the ages of 6 and 16 must pay CHF 5.25 in summer. At this price, all buses in the valley and practically all mountain railways can be used free of charge. In winter, the tourist tax costs 7 Fr. for adults and children pay 3.75 Fr. In this price the ski bus is free in winter. Breakfast available on request.

Hike & sleep in Valais: Cleaning included!

I stayed with Alejandro for 2 weeks in the apartment in Guttet Feschel to go ski touring in Valais and Bernese Oberland. I had a wonderful time. I felt very comfortable in the apartment and was able to relax well. The apartment offers everything you need to take a short or even a little longer vacation. The kitchenette has everything you need to cook for yourself. And what I really appreciated was the washing machine in the basement. Everything worked out wonderfully, so I had few inquiries. Alejandro was very helpful when I needed something and very responsive. In the first week, a friend visited me and we stayed in the apartment for a week with two people; it worked out wonderfully, even with a lot of ski touring equipment. Many thanks to Alejandro! My best recommendation!

We had a great time at Reto's. I would highly recommend his chalet to enjoy nature. The accommodation is charming, warm, the bedding comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped. We enjoyed the view of the mountains and the many walks whose starting point is from the cottage itself. I didn't get a chance to meet Reto, but he was very responsive and his instructions for accessing the chalet were very clear. We enjoyed the small welcoming touch with the bouquet of and cherries on the table. A nice place that I'll remember for a future stay in Switzerland.

Kim was kind and responsive. Upon arrival, someone was there to welcome us. Amazing location. Center of the old village, opposite the church (bells don't ring during the night).Private covered parking across the street, suitable for big cars. Includes private locker for skis. Departure of the cable car is 5min on foot. 20m away, bakery and official après-ski meeting point / bar. Description of the place (including pictures) vs reality is accurate. No balcony, but direct view of the Matterhorn. Apartment is bright with lots of sunshine. Entrance with incredible storage room. Lounge and dining areas super cosy. Kitchen well designed with all possible cooking gear. Few food supplies, take your own oil, spices, etc. Rooms spacious and fit 5 easily with plenty of storage (1 double bed is narrow though). Water is hot and plentiful. Ceilings are low. Fully renovated apartment in an older building. Phonic insulation is not perfect but nothing annoying. We can only recommend this place!

We didn't have a car, so the connection to public transport was very important to us – and the place was perfect for it! We arrived by bus from Visp train station and were there in only about 35 minutes. The hostess Hermione and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The house is equipped with everything you need. The surroundings are beautiful and very quiet – simply fantastic. Everything was perfect, we will be happy to come back!
