We are a family of 5 with a playful dog and 2 cats and are happy to give tips for a nice holiday. We are hosts with body and soul. The city center (cathedral...) is easily accessible by public transport and by bike (can be provided). Shops serving everyday needs can be found within walking distance. Enjoy the original flair in the lovingly restored half-timbered house. Great location with sun terrace at the Ahrquelle, lake and various restaurants. Jakobsweg, Eifelsteig and Ahrradweg cross here. You'll have the entire upper part of the house to yourselves! The apartment is not lockable as it is an emergency exit. Almost all guests are extremely satisfied! Not suitable for allergy sufferers, people with physical limitations and acoustic sensitivity (bells). Looking forward to seeing you soon!

By car, you can reach the Nürburgring, the Ahr, the Ruhrsee or Phantasialand Brühl in a good half hour. Shopping is 10 km away. Dogs are welcome by arrangement.

A small hallway leads to the bedroom with double bed (1.80 x 2.00 m) and TV, as well as to the spacious living room with large dining table, TV, fold-out sofa bed (1.40 x 2.00 m). Adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen is a small balcony. The bathroom consists of a separate toilet, sink and a bathtub with shower.

Spacious, light filled apartment is located in Frechen, a relaxed satellite town 8 km west of the city of Cologne. 8 minutes on foot to the supermarkets ALDI and Netto. 25 minutes drive to the cathedral city center, A1 and A4 connections and the cities of Bonn, Düsseldorf, Leverkusen and Aachen can be easily reached by car in 30-45 minutes.

The cottage, which is independent of our house (we live right next door), consists of two rooms and a bathroom. In the living room there is also a small kitchenette with 2 burner stove, dishes, coffee machine (Senseo), microwave, etc. The bed in the bedroom is 160x200. The shower room is the connection between the two rooms. One parking space is right in front of the cottage.
