We had a lovely weekend away with our family—my husband, our two kids, my parents, and our dog. The location was ideal, with beautiful lake views from the deck and garden, and direct access to the lake walk. It was great being right in the middle of everything—especially when we saw how many people were arriving just to visit the area we were already staying in. The cottage was both cozy and spacious, and it felt familiar and comfortable from the start. It was also very pet-friendly, with a thoughtful basket of essentials provided for our dog, and the garden felt safe and secure for him. A fun surprise was the kookaburra that made itself at home in the shed—our daughters were delighted! Thank you to Denise and Rodney for setting up such a well-thought-out and welcoming space. It made for one of our most enjoyable weekend getaways.

We had a great stay at Jasmin’s place. The eggs, bread,butter and milk were much appreciated. The house was very clean and comfortable with top quality linen and plentiful crockery,cups and glasses with comfortable beds. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the back deck at sunset watching the moon wax and wane in the clear night sky. Overall a peaceful,comfortable experience. We hope to visit again later in the year. Spotlessly clean and beautifully curated, the cottage was everything we could have hoped for and more. Peaceful, comfortable and filled with thoughtful touches, it also felt private which we appreciated. The welcome bottle of fizz was very generous as were all the other amenities designed to create a feeling of home away from home. Only a five minute drive from Daylesford, the location was super convenient and easily accessible. Similarly, Heather was incredibly responsive and quick to help with local tips and suggestions. An all-round lovely stay! We hope to visit again one day soon.

The house was as described as the listing. Very homely and considerate decor. Perfect for friends or small families. Beautiful back yard and very decent sized rear balcony/porch with a nice view! Our host Andrew was great with communications and provided very detailed information.

Rhonda was a great host, quick to respond and her home was beautiful with lots of personal touches, loved the photo album showing the process of the home being built and the garden and outdoor area were beautiful to relax and enjoy the view. Inside was beautiful and welcoming, the coffee machine was a life saver with good quality coffee and welcoming chocolates next to a beautiful welcoming message, we will definitely return

The property was cosy, clean and well thought out. There were 5 of us (women) and we had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. We were within walking distance of stunning Lake Wendouree and about a 20 minute walk to where all the fabulous restaurants, bars and cafes are located. Lovely bed linen, nice big bathroom, 2 toilets. Bright and airy, comfortable couches and plenty of pillows. Clare was in contact with us to ensure a smooth entry to the property and there were clear instructions on how to operate the TV, air con and heater and also what needed to be done when leaving. A beautiful property that I highly recommend. We had a great relaxing time in a spacious, immaculate home.

We found this gem on short notice as we wanted to spend New Years at Daylesford with our dog. It was just the perfect place for my husband, me and our fur baby. It’s located right near the shops and you get your own private access to the Lake so I was able to spend each morning going for a run. Such a beautiful place! Just be mindful of the insects but you are staying by the lake, so just bring some repellent and you’ll be fine. Thank you again for hosting us, Sally!

We had two nights in the Garden Barn after our wedding in Bendigo. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy each other's company, and feel the peace and quiet of a cul de sac at the end of Templeton Street. Our host was very welcoming and the accommodation was spacious, beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable. The barn is set in a very beautiful garden which is a feature in itself. We had a great time.

Our little family had a great time at Eloise’s place. It is very well located near the lake and close to the main strip, but also felt peaceful and secluded. The house was very comfortable and its elevation meant that the windows had wonderful views and light. We found the living area was surprisingly comfortable in the chilly mornings, especially with the space heater on. Finally, Eloise was very responsive and accommodating.

We were lucky enough to find Mia Mia while we were waiting to move into our new house so we had a lengthy stay. It was lovely to have such a homely place that was peaceful and comfortable. Fire for the colder nights, very comfortable beds, functional bathrooms, kitchen and laundry and we particularly enjoyed all the bird life around the home. A very easy walk into town to grab the necessities, a coffee or a pub meal. Thank you so much for your hospitality Bronwyn and Kieran.
