Wow. One of the best air bnbs that we have ever stayed in. The place is even better than the photos. The outside space is private with an amazing view of the lake. Laglio was a perfect place for us, quiet and authentic. We took the bus and ferries to get around as we were without a car. As long as you are organised and ready for a busy bus it’s completely doable without a car. Nico’s food recommendations were all excellent. Our favourite place was the family butchers / cafe close to the apartment. We went there nearly every day for drinks, steak, meats and cheese. We also cooked some basic meals at the apartment which we recommend as it’s a lovely space. Nico and Wendy were amazing hosts, so helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thoroughly recommend this place and we are already looking at their other properties for another holiday! Book now ☺️

Great little feel-good house with cool furniture and wonderful views!

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Andreas place is great. Extremely clean and tidy. Had everything we needed for our stay in lake como. The view is stunning. It’s also in a good location. Great host, very responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend. Only thing to note is dervio is a 15/20min walk for the nearest trains and busses which we didn’t mind as enjoy walking.

Thank you Ursula for this amazing stay in your chalet. An authentic and peaceful experience in the nature surrounded by mountains, waterfalls, flower fields, and the forest. The historical house is super clean, decorated with care and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Ursula even baked a bread and a Zopf for us, both delicious 😍 we could also order food from their farm, like cheese, eggs and meat. It was difficult to leave this quiet heaven. Thank you again Ursula & Ernst for the perfect stay in Safien.

After 3 years, I returned to this extremely neat and simple cottage. Right here I found what I needed so much: absolute peace and quiet, simplicity, direct proximity to the forest and its animals...and not to forget the wonderful hostess, the cat Minuna - she still lives here, what happiness. I looked forward to daily firing and cooking at the wood stove, the quiet and starry nights, the encounters with different birds and animals in the nearby forest. After a day, I was already far away from my everyday life and lived totally slow through the days. So I sometimes recovered very quickly from my not quite cured flu. The contact with AnnaMaria was very warm and straightforward. In Lü, I was able to try one of their incredibly tasty cakes. One thing I know now - I'm sure I won't wait 3 years for the next visit to this house!

We had a great time at Chesa Prünella again and hope to come back soon. The accommodation is peaceful, well-equipped and ideally located in the middle of the valley. The area is beautiful and offers many activities.

Lucky is incredible host so helpful, kind and sweet…. The place is like a fairytale, magical, little, cozy spot that you do not want to ever leave…. Breathtaking views, no matter what the weather like it’s still beautiful… cleanest pool, warm and cracking fire place next to the bed… just perfect spot….!!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful and private. The highlight was the beautiful scenic views! There are many hikes close by with breathtaking sights. Andreas was very friendly and communicated very well during our stay.

The discreet and present mother is a valuable resource who lives on the first floor. The house is super clean and super stocked. The area is enchanting. 500 meters away is a nice wine bar restaurant... Top

We are here for the second time and again we liked it very much. It's a lovely place where we feel safe. It is also a good starting point, which is well connected to the public network (bus and train). This is important to us because we didn't have a car. The kitchen is well equipped. The sofa can be converted very easily and quickly for sleeping or sitting. The rain shower is very pleasant. We lacked nothing (and if something were missing, Regina or Marco would have been there quickly). Great!!!

My recommendation: Don't think twice if it's available – just book! You won't be sorry! The location is fantastic, with a fantastic view of Lake Walen, the furnishings leave nothing to be desired, and Annemarie is just incredibly warm→ ❤️. Particularly charming: the little lizards that watched us curiously from the window sill. We will be back!

This is my second time staying at Walter and Mariuccia’s place. I love their home because we really feel at our home. They are very kind and responsive hosts. Again, I love their surroundings. Mountains, rivers, cute cities close by. I highly recommend their place to stay and for sure I will go back again.

Just perfect! The place was super clean, tastefully decorated and very cozy. The bed with topper was incredibly comfortable – I rarely slept so well. Everything is at ground level, barrier-free and therefore also ideally suited for people with disabilities. Especially practical: the private, protected parking space right outside the door Host was extremely friendly and helpful The great guide folder with many personal tips, some of which I did not know despite five years of vacation on Lake Como, should be highlighted. The location is quiet, but easily accessible and easy to find. All around a great place to stay with attention to detail – I will definitely come back!

Best way to describe this location is STUNNING! The views are breath taking - more beautiful in person than the photos! We loved our stay - hard to beat having morning coffee & evening wine surrounded by such beauty! The night view when the lights appear is as beautiful as the day view! A car was necessary but well worth it. David was a very responsive and helpful host & we would definitely stay again if we have that opportunity!

Enrica (AKA Kikka) is a delightful woman who cares about her guests and does everything to make them feel at home. She responded very quickly to any of our questions and needs. She had great suggestions for restaurants, activities and site seeing outings, all listed in an informative book on the kitchen table. The view from the room is magical, almost beyond description, as you look out on to Lake Como both day and especially night! I had a wonderful stay in this small, super cozy apartment! The location is fantastic – quiet and at the same time easily accessible. Melanie is a very friendly and helpful host. Check-in and checkout were absolutely straightforward thanks to clear instructions. You can tell that it was furnished with a lot of love – I felt comfortable immediately. Highly recommended!

The stay was very pleasant, the host was very responsive and helpful. In the apartment, although small, there is everything you need. I really appreciated finding a stocked kitchen and all kinds of detergents in the bathroom, which is very useful for those who may have to travel light.

Clean accommodation, very pleasant and relaxing environment, we will be back!
