The Walnut Tree B & B is located in Zana, a hamlet in the upper part of Abbadia Lariana on the eastern shore of Lake Como. We are one hour away from Milan, 2 and a half km away from Mandello del Lago and 3 km away from Abbadia Lariana. If you arrive by train, we can pick you up by car from the train station of Mandello or Abbadia Lariana. The part of the house given over to the B&B has been sensitively restored and has the character of an old country house, complete with a balcony with views over the lake. The two rooms have private bathrooms. In summer you can have your breakfast served on the terrace in the garden. A few kilometers away is the town of Varenna, where boats depart for the lake. The whole area is known for the famous mountain "Grigna", a wonderful place for walking and climbing. If you enjoy motorcycles, be sure to visit the museum of Guzzi motorcycle. Abbadia is the perfect place to swim: there are no private homes that overlook the beautiful beach. The spacious (24 m²) south/east room in our B&B La Scala includes a private bathroom on the floor. A fantastic roof terrace with a view invites you to enjoy aperitifs at sunset. For breakfast, we will spoil you with all kinds of homemade and regional (mainly organic) delicacies. In our small library you will find numerous tips on the surroundings, books and games. You can also make tea, read a book or watch the village scenes on the adjoining balcony.

B&B Sopralapanca

Our B&B Sopralapanca is located in Postalesio, a small mountain village in the heart of Valtellina, in a strategic position for visiting the entire valley. The apartment is located on the second floor of a private house and is at your complete disposal, accessible via the external stairs. The building is a stone house, typical of the Valtellina villages, and the entrance to the B&B is located by entering the porch of the same building.

"MELETO" room with a double bed and a bathroom. In summer, this room is a little warmer than the others, and despite the cooling system, it is not possible to get a temperature below 26 degrees. For those who are particularly sensitive to heat or are used to sleeping with the air conditioning on, I recommend the much cooler Vigneto room.

Our house is located above Alvaneu village, the sun terrace of the Albula Valley at 1250 m above sea level. with beautiful views of the village and the mountains of Parc Ela. In the village there is a Volg shop and a doctor. We comply with the Covid cleaning plan.
