Everything was super.The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Even when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house, they quickly responded and were happy to help. Also when we couldn't get the fireplace to run, they were quick to help and swing by. The house is very modern and accommodates all the needs of adults and children. All the rooms had shutters that could make the room dark, making sleeping with young children very easy. From the kitchen, one could see the small garden, also making it great for also smaller children to play outside while parents could watch and cook meals from insid. All necessary kitchen equipment was available, even seasonings and oils! The check-in and out were very clear in description and easy to follow the steps. One tiny recommendation I would suggest is to be able to check out at 11 instead of 10.That would make the morning with small children a little easier. I highly recommend this location.I would come again anytime. thank you for having us!

Beautiful chalet in beautiful location. Clean and spacious for a family of 4. Hot tub is great. The chalet is well equipped. We traveled from the UK and arrived into some unusually heavy snow fall, road access to the chalet is steep and we slid around eventually had to use our snow chains, so be aware of that if going in winter with no snow tyres and two wheel drive. Would stay again. Carlos helpful, despite not speaking English and we don’t speak French but made it work.

Our stay in Birkenwald was a lovely experience. The cottage, located in a very quiet environment, is comfortable, extremely clean and very well arranged. Everything is decorated with taste. My family and I can only recommend staying with Matthieu who is an ideal host: friendly, helpful, welcoming, attentive, responsive. We'll be happy to come back to Birkenwald for a stay at La Grange.

Together with the extended family, we spent very nice days over Easter in the well-equipped, sparkling clean, and child-friendly house! We were very pleased about the nice reception with chocolate eggs, Easter lamb and sparkling wine. On the spacious grounds we could play boules and football, barbecue, visit the chickens and the goat... and also in the house there was enough space to play with the grandchildren. We had a wonderful stay ( too short!) the villa is beautiful , even better than in the photos , very well equipped , quality materials and tastefully decorated. The place is just amazing! The house itself was spacious, spotless, and incredibly cozy—we immediately noticed the lovely fragrance from air fresheners placed throughout, giving it a fresh and welcoming atmosphere. The fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathroom was clean and well-stocked. All three bedrooms were comfortable and neatly arranged, ensuring a restful stay. The apartment is very spacious. The bedrooms in the above mentioned have no tub or only one sliding door and are therefore clairaudient. The apartment was very clean and practically furnished. There are a lot of toys for small children. Goldbach-Altenbach is a very quiet place in the Vosges mountains. Opposite the property is a small, new and beautiful children's playground.

We had a great time at Stefanie's, the location was great, the views were amazing and we were lucky with the weather. The chalet itself was spacious for 6 peoples, very clean and we found everything we needed. We really liked the Faerber family who took care of the check-in and check-out. We would definitely recommend Stefanie's place for a short stay as it offers stunning views in both summer and winter and skiing and sledging in winter.
