Vacation rentals with lake access in Emsland

We felt super comfortable in Paul's house! Great house for 8 people, as you have 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms plus a separate toilet. All windows have fly screens, which is very convenient. Very nice garden and terrace, everything very clean. The kitchen is totally well equipped, we didn't miss anything! Very quiet location, but the nearest town with a supermarket is not too far away. The swimming area/sailboat are across the street, but that didn't bother us. We definitely want to come back 😊

As a small family with a son under one year old, this was the perfect place to stay. The entire accommodation is child-safe and offers numerous employment opportunities. The garden provides the basis for, for example, wonderful evenings by the fire pit. For us, the private sauna in the house was an additional highlight to round off the day in a relaxed way. The hosts are also really very friendly and gave tips for different aspects. Overall, we can make a clear recommendation :)

We enjoyed the house and the area at the river. Very good communication with the nice owner also for trouble shooting. Enough space for 5 people however 2 bathrooms would be even better ( there is only a small toilett room on ground level). Would be great to offer a BBQ station. Around the area is still in construction but no disturbance towards the garden river area. We would choose it again. Thanks Leontin & Alex

This quirky cottage is very well equipped, full of character and set in a beautiful and tranquil location. The local town of Oldberg offers a supermarket, bakery and chemist shop plus a couple of café/restaurants and the cottage is close enough to the major routes so as to offer easy access to larger settlements such as Zwolle and Heerenveen. We had a very pleasant stay and would recommend the property to those seeking a bit of peace and quiet in pleasant surroundings.

Our stay was really nice. The location of the house is super quiet and beautifully located on the water. The house is very well equipped. Nothing is missing, especially in the kitchen. The rooms are all spacious and the furniture is appropriately selected. Communication went smoothly and quickly. We had a great vacation and would be happy to come back. 😊

We stayed at the property over New Year's Eve and felt very much at home. The location right on the water is a highlight. It is a very quiet area, so highly recommended for a relaxing break.

We had a short vacation with two children. The accommodation has enough space for a family of 4. The rooms were all clean. You have everything you need. And we had felt like at home. In the garden there is a nice sauna and a large hot tub. The sauna is worth the money in our opinion. And we were allowed to enjoy the hot tub to the fullest with the wood provided to us free of charge. The surroundings and a very nice playground also leave nothing to be desired. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you and all the best!

We had a very nice stay around New Year's Eve. The cottage is modernly decorated and has everything you'll need. Nice baby cot. There were also many extras such as coffee and tea. It is nicely located on the waterfront. Contact with Helma went very well and smoothly, she gave clear instructions on where to be and how to get in. We were also spontaneously offered a flexible arrival and departure time. Highly recommended!

Heidi and Uwe are very warm and we felt very comfortable. So well, that the time went by far too quickly. The apartment is conveniently located, you can get everywhere quickly by car. And the canal outside the door lets everyday life move into the distance. Always happy to come back. Thanks for this great stay.

The place was very clean and equipped with everything you need in everyday life. The contact with Sonja was always friendly. We enjoyed the privacy and the view of the beautiful lake best. If you need a break from the city life, this place is just right. Thank you Sonja and Holger!

Very great apartment that was renovated with a lot of love and has fantastic amenities. You feel right at home. The complex is located a 500-year-old farm with a good restaurant and several apartments in the countryside. Stefan is helpful, communicative, and a great host. We will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay in Bad Iburg. Great area for hiking and the apartment was well equipped, spacious, clean and cosy! Would definitely recommend!

Maurits and his wife are lovely and welcoming people. Upon arrival we were welcomed by Maurits who immediately gave us a tour of the apartment. The apartment is located under their detached house on the water which was really great. The space is very spacious and equipped with every comfort. Upon arrival, we were able to enjoy a nice Brabant's sausage roll and a bottle of wine. We quickly felt at home, which is always important to us. The living room is large, large bed nice kitchen and a separate shower room with a washer-dryer. The only thing was that there was only one window where the light could come in. This was no problem for us, especially not because the living space was large and we actually didn't suffer from this. We were allowed to use the jetty and the conservatory overlooking the water. We felt really welcome what a nice side effect of our stay was. We would like to come back in the future.

We had a great time at Nynke‘s place! The flat was lovely and well equipped. Also, it was super clean. The surroundings are beautiful and you can walk around the neighborhood enjoying nature or take a boat and discover nature from the water. Boats & bikes are available from Nynke/ her family. This was very convenient. Nynke and her family are super friendly! They are great host :-) we can totally recommend it when you are looking for a nice and quiet escape into nature ☺️🙂

Thank you Ilse and Maarten :) You have a great place for resting and enjoying life. When i arrived by bike, i was glad that there was already enough food to cook. I think the closest supermarket is Poiesz in Haulerwijk.

We had a lovely stay! The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, we immediately felt welcome. The cottage itself is beautiful, cozily furnished and the wood-burning stove provided extra atmosphere and warmth — perfect for a relaxing evening. The surroundings are magnificent, in the middle of nature, ideal for walks and unwind. At the same time, there is plenty to do nearby: nice villages, beautiful routes and activities for everyone. Definitely recommended, we will happy to come back!

We had a wonderful few days at this great place. The decor is color selection is really great, the hot tub and the various outdoor seating is a real highlight. The entire garden area is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Wilko responded thoughtfully and quickly to requests. Only the beds have been a little too soft for our taste, which does not stop us from visiting this house again!

Anna's house is a gem! It all looks exactly like the photos and my fiancé and I had a wonderful time there. Everything was very lovingly prepared when we arrived, chocolate and sparkling wine were already waiting for us. The facility is simply fantastic and the two cattle are incredibly cute and curious. We will be happy to come back!

What an incredibly nice and lovely cottage, in the middle of the forest and at a window. Everything was present and clean. Furniture is slightly different than in the photo, but certainly no less bad. Beds are fine, we slept wonderfully! Terrace outside is also really nice, nice in the sun. Surroundings are beautiful and wonderfully quiet. Plenty to see and do. It's a bit of a search which small path to park, but the description clearly indicates that. Owners are friendly and quick to respond. Top!

A lovely place if you want to relax. The extra attention was also great what can a person feel welcome.

We had a great time at Regina's house, they were very hospitable with us, the cute kitten the day we were going to say hello to us as tender and respectful as we were. We went in late autumn and clearly the trees did not have their leaves but that did not prevent us from sinking in the middle of nature and also feeling the privacy that the house gives you. The bed upstairs is a little uncomfortable for the person who goes to the left but it is only a moment to sleep, with everything else the house provides you quickly forget the bed. We would love to come back in the spring or summer!
