Apartment vacation rentals in Eminönü

Great location, tucked away from all the hustle and bustle but still easy to get to all the attractions. Two minutes away from the tram stop. The place was clean and comfortable. The floors are a bit creaky and sometimes you can hear the upstairs guests but that perhaps adds to the charm. The pictures are exactly the same and the decor is also done up with an old Turkish touch but with modern amenities. Would recommend if you’re looking for a spot tucked away but close to everything.

First, the host Efkan was terrific. Waiting for us at the front door, he carried our two suitcases up to the 5th floor apartment, saving two old travellers from the struggle of doing it ourselves! Efkan responded to all our texts almost immediately, and was a great host The flat is well equiped (although no oven),and has a fantastic terrace overlooking the Bosphorous, where my wife and I enjoyed a glass of wine every evening. A joy. It is very central (beside the Galata Tower), so good for seeing all the important attractions, either on foot, public transport or taxi. Being in the center of town means there are street noises at night, like car horns, or people on a night out...nothing unusual, but part of city life.

Balat has it all and just a quick tram ride to the beating heart of Istanbul The apartment was so quiet The shower was amazing The beds were comfortable The kitchen was well stocked We had a gorgeous lounge to relax in An all over 5 star apartment I thoroughly recommend a stay here of at least 4 nights

Perfect place to stay! I’m from America and he made it very easy to book and communication was perfect. Air bnb was so beautiful! Amazing views, everything was within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here.

Great location in residential area 10 min from metro and busses. Very quiet area and quiet apartment. The other 3 flats in the block being private. Stairs up to the apartment a spiral. Easier with backpacks than a suitcase. Galata tower and tons of eateries a 10 minute walk away. Great place to stay.

Beautiful home close to the Galata Tower. Comfortably furnished with everything needed to eat in and relax while enjoying an amazing view and the sounds of the city below. Hosts are super responsive and eager to help make your stay perfect. Definitely worth the 5 flights of stairs!!

Reyhan's accommodation fully participated in making our city tour perfect! Ideally located in old Istanbul, we were able to easily go back and forth between the places to visit and it, enjoy the surrounding restaurants (from the very good breakfast just at the foot of the accommodation to the aperitif in the vegetated courtyard of the Mansions a little further), as well as consider the majority of our trips on foot (to Taksim Square via the Galata bridge). Cozy, bright, very clean, well-equipped and spacious, it allowed us to rest when we needed it. And the cherry on top, the terrace offers one of the best views, with, at an equal distance, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. To be contemplated without moderation from sunrise to sunset without having to share this point of view with a crowd. In short, an address that we will recommend and certainly share with our loved ones in the months ahead!

If you have to go to Istanbul (which I do not recommend) better get in touch with Seyid and stay in his apartment. He is very helpful, honest, and always close by to help you with anything and everything. The apartment has all the amenities you need and it is located at 5 min walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the T. palace. BUT this is Istanbul: bad roads, congestion, hundreds of stray cats and water outages with no warning...

The accommodation room is large, fully equipped with washing machine, refrigerator, kitchenware, convenient for cooking.It is very close to Garata, 5 minutes walk, and 4 stops from the core scenic area of the old city, very convenient

Really great location and hopefully there is no any outside noise. The apartment itself is clean and has everything you need. My only concern is water pressure/temp in the shower can be inconsistent, but nothing crazy. The host is really great and helpful.

In short, the place is great and worth staying. Walkable distance to the center sightseeings. Few minutes walk to the closest tram station (tho it's a bit of uphill to walk towards the tram station, uphills are common in Istanbul). House was clean and included everything as described, has its own washing and drying room, which was very useful. Local markets, sweets and souvenir/gift shops are also very close, with affordable prices (a lot cheaper then the ones at touristic locations). The apartment is on the 4th floor, excluding ground level floor. There were little noises from restaurants nearby during evening, but it didn't bother us at all. Overall, it was great experience, I would happily stay there another time.

Absolutely loved this place. It is on the 5th floor with no elevator, so if you are not for climbing stairs, this isn't your place. The staff did tote the luggage up and down. I personally wanted the exercise, and the view was worth it. I don't know that Istanbul offers a better view. Beware of the Galataport drop off. A LOT of stairs to get home even though it says .2-.3 mile walk. Every bit is stairs from the water. I would stay here again if visiting Istanbul

I had an unforgettable stay in the heart of Cihangir, in a peaceful and elegant location. This place is not just an accommodation but truly feels like a second home in Istanbul. With her warm hospitality, excellent recommendations about the city, and attention to every detail from check-in to even sharing the local grocery store’s number, she truly made me feel at home. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed home in Istanbul, this is definitely the right place! I will definitely be back!
