Chalet D is set in the idyllic Highland setting of Heatherwood Park behind our sister property Chalet C and a three minute drive or a 25 minute coastal walk from Dornoch town centre. This will be Chalet D’s first season on the short term rental market as we’ve just freshly redecorated the property with a modern cosy feel. Perfect for any party of four, Chalet D has its own highchair, cot and dog bed so we’re prepared for any precious member of your party whether their toes be small or furry.

The Hide - off-grid-ish woodland cabin near NC500

The Hide is a super get-away for anyone travelling around Scotland on the NC500 or on your own adventure looking for a unique stay. Almost off-grid, it has a comfy bed, central woodburner and spectacular view. It's the perfect stepping stone towards the full off-grid experience, intended for people who are curious about living the off-grid lifestyle but also like to be able to charge their phone, boil a kettle and have a hot shower! Very cosy, with wooden floors designed so you can come in straight from the beach :... The house is suitable for two adults, and one child between the age of 5 to 16. The small single room is downstairs, with shower off. Double en suite is upstairs in low ceilinged open plan gallery, approached by winding wooden stairs from living area.

The perfect stop for those interested in walking, cycling or wildlife. This quiet and tranquil cottage is surrounded by magnificent scenery and wide-open spaces. In Sutherland you can enjoy fantastic beaches, distilleries, castles, golf courses, and much more.

Birdsong is in the peaceful woodland setting of Heatherwood Park.The chalet is nestled to the west side of the park away from the roadside with views to the west overlooking open fields, set in its own private grounds which is fully fenced and secure. The chalet is all on one level apart from 4 steps up to the front door,it has been recently renovated making it a bright airy modern space. We are situated outside the town of Dornoch about 1 mile north as you drive towards Embo.
