Family-friendly vacation rentals in Elzach

We had a great family vacation here! Even though the weather was not as good, the house was just perfect for it! There was a lot of activities for the kids, the pool was warm and could be used easily even in the rain. The house is equipped so well, it feels very much like home right away. We can totally recommend it for a family trip! Thank you very much and we would love to come back!

Estelle is a great hostess. The place was clean, great access. The kitchen is well appointed and we felt very much at home. But what you definitely have to note: the apartment is very bright. If someone moves on the upper floor, you can hear it in the bedroom below. We were thrilled and can only recommend the place to stay.

We enjoyed this beautiful, practical and functional home in a peaceful environment open to nature. Enjoying the jacuzzi was very nice. Beautiful location in the heart of Alsace which allowed us to see Colmar, Europa Park, Haut Koenigsbourg and the beautiful villages of the Wine Route. Marc-André was a discreet host, attentive and interested in our tourist activities.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The place was spotless and very comfortable, the kitchen had everything you could need. We also enjoyed the wellness offers but made the mistake of sort of skimming over the instructions for the bain nordique and it heated up way too much, that was our fault though. Just advice to future guests to heat according to instructions :)

We were guests of Frederic after Christmas to see Colmar and the other villages. We had a really good time, the house was comfortable and warm despite the outdoor temperature being below 0. Frederic and his partner were very kind and provided us with a cot for our 9-month-old daughter. I highly recommend it for those who want to spend their holidays in the area. Positive note: There is a restaurant less than a 1 minute walk away and it's very good.

Séverine is a very welcoming host, warm and responsive to our requests. The cottage matched the listing perfectly, a very welcoming space and very well-equipped for a family stay. The cottage is very well located, close to major cities like Strasbourg. Ideal for visiting. Thanks to our hosts, we will keep the address for a possible future stay.

Very good stay, cozy and warm accommodation, carefully decorated, everything is there for a pleasant stay, stove, logs, towels, dishes, utensils, washing machine, good bedding, parking space. Peaceful family house in a beautiful setting. The perfect escape for a family looking to unplug and enjoy nature. The playground and animals are perfect for kids and the host is friendly and helpful.

We spent 3 nights at Julian's place. He was a terrific host, helpful and ultra responsive. The place is in a great location and is well connected by Basel's amazing transport system, (bus and tram). The apartment is exactly as listed, very nice retro feel and a little quirky which made it feel that bit unique. Julian gave us great hints and tips and was kind enough to lend us some bikes which we used to cycle along the Rhine. The Basel travel card which Julian supplies is a real gem and makes navigating the city so much easier.

Great stay, decorated with a lot of love and thought of all the little things. Were there with 3 dogs for hiking, was really nice. Super nice contact via messages, kitchen is well equipped for cooking.

We had a wonderful time at Denis' wooden cabin. It's really cosy with the chimney, has a nice garden with terrace and an unbelievable quiteness. Would defnitely recommend to stay here if you are lloking for a cosy home in a remote place surrounded by nature. Thanks for having us :)

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Matthias & Gitta's place. We were looking for a cozy, relaxing break on our trip to Blackforest National Park and the place was perfect for us. They were really responsive to our request for early check-in and recommendations and suggested good short trips to us. We felt comfortable from the moment we stepped in, where they had laid some Apfelsaft and Cookies for us. The place is HUGE! Far more rooms then we needed. Our daughter loved running around the house and playing with the toys and games available. Was really happy to see a nice carved Chessboard and Foosball (two of my favorite indoor games). The kitchen, too, is stocked with cooking essentials. The hosts keep their respectful distance, but were always available for any Qs/requests. Would definitely stay here again when we make our next trip in the area. Best, Hardik

Marie is a lovely lady living on the next door of the apartment. She is very sweet and friendly and happy to help when needed.

We had a great stay. Being a group of 4 adults & 4 children, the apartment is very comfortable and functional. It is modern, clean and very well-equipped (including exotic spices & sauces :)). Hosts are very responsive, available and flexible. Perhaps the only small downside is the wifi coverage (a little difficult to pick up from the downstairs bedroom and kitchen)

Very well equipped mobile home with a vmc (heating and air conditioning) which is very appreciated. There's also a small TV. And a quality exterior. The host was responsive and efficient.

The apartment is comfortably furnished and had everything you need. It was very clean. There were eight of us and we were fine. 2 sleeping places are the pull-out sofa in the living room. We also found all the space at the table. From the apartment you are within 10 minutes walk to the tram station. Bakeries and small supermarkets are also within walking distance. We would book it again!

Excellent welcome from Stéphane and his wife, very friendly who were able to tell us the good places in the area (restaurant, pastry baker, and above all an excellent caterer). Very good advice on the use of the Rhinau ferry for the crossing of the Rhine allowing very quick access to Europa Park. This large capacity cottage is also very well located for visiting Alsace and in particular the wine route. I highly recommend and will not hesitate to come back with family or friends . We had a pleasant stay. The accommodation, a gem, super well appointed, new, beautiful materials, comfortable, super clean. Ideally located, it's a real nest at the foot of the vines :) Close to many places to visit. Charming touches were waiting for us, and above all a good communicative mood on the part of Pascal and his wife. The spa area was already great, with the ongoing improvements, it will be just great. We loved our stay at Florent's place: the path to the forest and the mountain at the foot of the accommodation, the peaceful and well-organized setting, the very friendly conversations with the host. The kids loved the pond, taking care of the adorable ponies, the little stream that flows on the property. Very quiet and refreshing place! The accommodation was perfect for us: the very comfortable beds and the mountain water at the tap! We highly recommend it!
