Extremely well-equipped home for travelers. The spacious kitchen had everything from wine glasses to plastic dishes for outdoor dining & kids to an extensive collection of spices, teas, and an array of cutting boards. The house was even well-prepared for the seven-hour power outage we experienced due to a windstorm (plenty of wood for the stove-provided by the hosts-as well as battery-powered lamps and extra blankets). Though it would have been great if they'd had a back-up power generator. The house feels cozy and private, has beautiful views from the bathrooms and upstairs workspace, and it was fun exploring the expansive grounds. Communication with Christina was very good. The house is filled with thoughtful touches. Note that the upstairs bathroom has no door, though it does have visual privacy, and you have to go through the bedroom to which that bathroom is essentially connected to get to the master bedroom. Vegans will love Red Dot Cafe located in Wurtsboro, NY.

Alex was a very gracious host. We had an easy check in and a great first night — the listing was as described and the location was very quiet and scenic. When a big snow storm hit and we had to leave early, Alex was quick to accommodate our early check out. Thank you for being a great host!

Great house/cabin for a nature getaway. Exactly as described, and I appreciated very clear instructions about everything. Loved attention to details and high-quality touches throughout the house and cute retro vibes. Very comfy beds and linens. We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend, and were able to cook a holiday dinner for ourselves as the kitchen is fully equipped. The heating worked well considering freezing temperatures, but it makes some blowing noise, in case you are sensitive. I imagine that in warm weather this house sould be an absolute gem.
