Try One Fyne Deli’ on the corner , for sampling delicious breakfast rolls , homemade soups and sandwiches to go. The property has a shared main entrance , the apartment itself comprises of a living area with sofa bed / kitchen , double bedroom and separate shower room with sink and w.c and is simply decorated , cosy and equipped with all basics for your stay . Maida's cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ford, close to Loch Ederline. There is a private driveway to the cottage with a farm gate to keep the sheep on the hill. There is ample parking and a gated/fenced private garden. Although on the edge of the village, Maida's cottage feels remote with a rather stunning backdrop. There are many hills to walk. There is no TV or WiFi, this is a cosy getaway from hectic lives so sit back and enjoy the log fire with a good book.

Cosy Top Floor Haven

Cosy top floor hideaway set just one street back from the lovely Tarbert Harbour our flat is ideal for a west coast getaway for two. Comfy king sized bed, fully equipped kitchen, shower and bathroom, a well laid out living room with sofa, tv with netfix etc. and a dining table by the window for village views. Free WIFI and parking on the street outside. Tarbert is incredibly friendly with some great restaurants, a couple of pubs and there are at least 5 festivals on per year!

We had a wonderful time at Jane’s beautiful cottage. It was spotlessly clean and in a wonderful, peaceful location. Jane left bird food in one of the cupboards so we filled the bird feeder and were delighted to see lots of lovely birds in the garden. The cottage is very homely, cosy and comfortable and the hosts keep coffee, tea, cooking oil, spices etc in the kitchen which was a very lovely touch. Unfortunately, the hotel next door is closed but there are lots of lovely restaurants in Lochgilpead. We also travelled to Tayvallich and had the most delicious fish and chips at the Tayvallich Inn - we highly recommend it! Overall, this is the perfect place to relax and adventure around the surrounding villages and towns. We really hope to come back again one day!

We’ve just spent 10 wonderful days in this gorgeous cottage overlooking Loch Fyne. The area is stunning with so much to offer we can’t wait to come back. There just wasn’t time to try out all the seafood places in the area! The cottage is really well equipped with everything you could possibly want. Amanda’s helpful information and recommendations were brilliant. She told us in advance about the unexpected building going on nearby but it was not a problem at all as we were out mainly during the day anyway. All in all it was one of the very best holidays we’ve had in Scotland - and we’ve had quite a few! And all that in spite of the car breaking down on our last day and the AA, the builders and Amanda all coming to our rescue!! Thanks for everything Amanda. We’ll be back!!

What a wonderful place. I have been coming to the island since I was a boy and this was the first year I could bring my own child to enjoy the most magical place. The house is perfect. A stunning location, clean, warm and spacious. We had a wonderful week and made some truly special memories. We will return!

The eco-lodge was very comfy, warm and inviting. We had a bit trouble finding the place but that was because I lost cell signal and had not made a screenshot of the check-in instructions (I recommend you do so). We had to ask Katherine to come down to show the electric situation, I had not fully understood that, if the stove is on, nothing that plugs in can be on as well (lamps, radio etc). Katherine was very friendly and was there within minutes then made sure we were set for the rest of the evening before she left! We were very appreciative of that.

A great place to stay, very clean and tidy, all new appliances and excellent en suit/shower absolutely no complaints. Only 5 mins from the charger in the town centre and shops. Could definitely recommend it for anyone. The views were amazing too!

We couldn’t have picked a better place to finish our week exploring Islay and Jura. The cottage is an absolute dream. A mixture of back to basics and quality amenities. Located a 10 minute drive from Craighouse but also with great walks straight from the door. The paps right on your doorstep gave us the most magical sunset sight. Rain or sun whatever the weather Jura wears it well. And Mrs Leonard’s cottage is the perfect place to come back to and either warm up in front of the fire or sip a wine or a touch of the hard stuff in the garden. I hope we will be back

Seal Cabin - A wee piece of Scottish Luxury

We had a brilliant 4 night stay at Seal Cabin with our dog - so peaceful, cosy and had everything we could possibly wish for. We loved waking up to the views of the beautiful loch everyday (and seal watching!) and it was a perfect location for walking in the local area and driving to visit other areas. Iain and his family were really friendly and gave us some great recommendations around the area. Would highly recommend a stay at Seal Cabin!
